Great game, with an affecting narrative - Loved the time I spent with it, but knowing the story, it's difficult to come back to. Will never forget it.

I've played for 432 hours on PS4, and bought the game and all DLC on both platforms, so that should give you an idea that even though I've had some issues with the grind, I've still enjoyed this game enough to come back to it time and time again. One of my favourite co-op games, and now that it's free to play, there's no reason for people not to give it a shot. It can take some time to really experience everything that D2 has to offer, but playing the free version should at least give you a enough of an idea to know whether you want to dive in completely :)

Edit 25/11/2021 - Can say that I have pretty much abandoned it at this point - the game is still great to play and features a pretty addictive game loop, but the dependence on capitalising on the fear of missing out is waaaaay too obvious at this point. I was buying the season pass consistently up until recently because I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss out on any of the story content, but I just don't feel the drive to come back anymore. I wish I had more time on my hands to put into it, but the fact I could not even make a tiny dent on the content available these days, I honestly don't see a point in trying anymore.

A stylish looter shooter with a ridiculous amount of content that is tonnes of fun! WIth the new improved texture pack and free DLC, there is no reason not to pick this up as part of the handsome collection. Well worth a play :)

This feels like the true successor to the System Shock games - The story, the environment, the gameplay...it's not without it's faults, but it definitely got it's hooks into me 😀 After finishing it twice, I can wholly say that despite a somewhat anticlimactic ending, it still would have rated very highly on my best games of 2017. I desperately hope that it gets a sequel which expands upon the gameplay and world building shown here - the first two thirds of the game are superbly crafted, with mechanics that provide enjoyable exploring of the world, but the final portion feels cut short, limited to wrapping everything up as neatly and quickly as possible. Definitely still worth a purchase and play 👍

Easily my favorite Fallout game (Sue me, I didn't start playing them until Fallout 3). Well written story and enjoyable (if a bit flaky) gameplay hold this game high on my list of favorite games. It is not without flaws......hundreds and hundreds of them in fact, but thanks to a combination of an active community of modders and supporters, it was able to stay stable enough for me to get well and truly my moneys worth of entertainment. With the advent of Fallout 4, New Vegas will probably become a relic of a bygone, (only slightly) glitchier era, but if you can see past the clunky graphics engine, and have the patience to set-up a mod or two to make the experience a bit more stable, you will not be dissappointed.

I love FFVII - I spent literally months playing this as a teen, and despite not being the best in the Final Fantasy series, and being hailed as a higher budget, less good vremake of FFVI, it still holds a special place in my heart. All of that aside, this PC port has got a few neat additions, overall smoothing out the experience of playing FFVII on your PC - this was a selling point for me due to my nostalgia connection, but nostalgia only gets you so far.

Being based on a port Eidos made in th 90s, the graphics in the PC remake are inconsistent. With blurry, low resolution pre-rendered backgrounds, and character models rendered at full res, we're left with the characters standing out like a sore thumb, an issue that wasn't present in the low-def original. There are new glitches that have been introduced by accident in the conversion, and generally the open world gameplay has aged pretty badly when compared to fully 2D games of a similar generation. It's a bit of a mess, and frankly, I have mixed feelings about the need for this re-release at all, even for newcomers. The whole experience leaves alot to be desired, which is a shame for modern audiences. Maybe just wait until Square release the proper FF7 remake, unless you are super keen on the OG.

A quick, but satisfying game, definitely worth the price - a great deal of care has gone into the mechanics and environment design, and despite being short, it 's meditative and relaxing gameplay doesn't overstay its welcome. A well constructed homage to Nifflas, and a title well worth playing to fans of his work :)
