Best game ever made. Initial release interface was unplayable. Believe me, I bought it the day it was released after saying for years if it came to steam I would buy it. I stopped at 1hr 50min and considered returning it. It was so bad. Patch #4 makes the game playable. It's not the snes version, and there are still glitches and frame rate issues. All that said, it's still the best game ever made.

Great game exept when you get randomly disconnected at the end of skittergate. Give us servers.

Pros:
+3 player local co-op + Online Via Steam Remote Play (IT WORKS! Only the person controlling the launch of the game gets achievement credit)
+3D graphic upgrade
+Auto-save between zones and after bosses saved to 3rd save slot (YES!)
+12 consumable items instead of 4 (This number can be set in the options menu in game as 4, 8, or 12)
+Achievements
+Gear stats
+Voice acting (I'm lazy, read to me)
+Dash longer
+Diagonal attacking
+Cosmetic DLC for those that preordered

Cons: (All cons were prior to Steam Remote Play and any updates since then)
-Wireless PS4 controllers temporarily lost connection at times (no issues with wired PS4 or wired Xbox) Didnt seem like battery issue as both of my PS4 controllers lost connection at the exact same time resulting in 2 players repeating whatever motion or movement they had been been doing for 1-2 seconds until the connection was restored
-Game crashed once after 5 hours as I was saving (didn't lose much thanks to auto save)
-No cloud save, only local saves in .../documents/mygames/Secret of Mana
-Default character skins randomly don't load and the character is all black. It is still playable and usually goes away after reloading the save file
