Just thinking about this game again a couple of months after beating it. It's a monumental achievement in so many ways, but most significantly shows that this medium still has SO much room to grow. The breadth and depth of narrative subjects tackled by Disco Elysium is vast and is honestly nigh-incomparable to any other game of the same production caliber. It also presents a very tried-and-true package (Isometric RPG/Adventure), yet approaches the 'mechanics' in such a different way. I'm glad people are still playing this for the first time, years after release. It is a legitimately enjoyable, moving, and provocative experience, but also an "Important" one. It's essential content, if you buy in to that sort of thing.
