Performance is amazing despite being a UE5 game, probably the best performing game to drop in a while, network and ping are good despite some server issues going on intermittently. Gunplay is good, slight bloom whilst hip-firing with set recoils when ADSing. Util has lineups shown both with a trail from your FPP and on the mini-map itself, so very friendly in regards to understanding where util will land and how to use it; characters are colorful and have enough life that I'd say they are all unique in their own rights, albeit maybe similar to characters from other hero shooters like Apex, Valorant, or Siege; including some of the Shard cards and their parameters. Card system forces people to actually pay attention and adapt to each individual round, you can swap characters between rounds too in response to the cards being played during that round or the enemy team composition.

Game DOESN'T force any money out of you and you can get 3 Lancers(Characters) for free by simply logging in to the game, in which you get enough currency to buy your first character via the devs sending you in game mail with enough of the earn-able currency, a Lancer statue(free character unlock) for your 2nd daily log-in, and a 3rd Lancer statue via the Porcelain event going on currently. You can get 3 characters for FREE by simply playing the game and you can earn premium pulls by leveling up your account level, character levels(which gives a character skin, charm, sticker, and arm accessory too), gun levels(which max level for each gun gives you a Diamond skin), and doing the events that are happening. I have only spent 30 dollars thus far for the BP, the monthly pass, and 10 dollars for pulls and I am thoroughly enjoying the game. There are people who spend 70+ dollars on yearly CoDs, FIFAs, NBAs, etc.; sometimes all 3-4 of these games along with those games MTXs and will still complain about a game like this because they see a gacha system that isn't forced. Skins will not make you a better player, reading abilities, cards, and picking util instead of the Deagle every round will.

Also no proof, that I have seen, of A.I. art being used. The images that are in question seem to be the in-game models themselves and people are simply parroting for the sake of parroting. The game is published by Netease, despite what it says on Steam, so if your concerns are with A.I., Marvel Rivals, along with Naraka: Bladepoint, may be guilty of such accusations too. All three games are published by Netease, supposed CN 'slop' that people want to bandwagon hate despite the adoration for games like Valorant and Fortnite, games and their companies who are now owned by TENCENT, whilst Valorant, a game plagued with its own issues, has an even less friendly monetization system, or Counter-Strike, bless Valve and GabeN despite everything, which is only still afloat due to deep util mechanics and being an established franchise.

TLDR: THIS GAME IS FUN, HELP IT RETAIN A PLAYER BASE, PLEASE PLAY IT AND PUT DOWN MONEY FOR THE BATTLE-PASS IF YOU WANT. IT WILL NOT EXPIRE AND IS SELF-SUSTAINING. THANK YOU FOR COMING TO MY TED TALK. :3

Buy this game, buy Severed Steel. This dev deserves your support, especially if you are craving Titanfall influenced video games with banger soundtracks. 10/10, improves upon everything that Severed Steel already did amazingly.

Genuinely good game, incredible sound design by Akira Yamaoka and the rest of the audio team that as I play more I realize helps to carry the game quite a lot and is actually scary(thus far). I was neutral/wary at first especially with the reception that The Short Message received and the first couple of trailers for SH2Remake but it's obvious Konami, seemingly and Bloober Team care about Silent Hill and are willing to not stray too far from the original vision whilst modernizing the controls and evenadding additional pieces of lore/rearranging the narrative slightlythat help to keep it fresh for veteran players and expand on the story. I am fully confident that if the game does well, which it seems to be doing, that Bloober Team and Konami will remake the other 3 games if their relationship continues to be healthy. Game also despite being on UE5 isn't the biggest piece of doggy doodoo in terms of optimization, though it could be better/you probably will want to put in some effort on your own part.

Came for the gameplay, stayed for the story. An amazing project that I hope we get to see more of, whether it be free or paid content. Thank you for bringing this in to the world, absolute joy from start to finish. Please, LET ME SAVE the child.
