If you look at reddit, steam forums etc. you'll get a certain impression of the community.
My personal experiences in-game as a Warden have been some of the most wholesome I've ever had online.

I imagine certain logi roles and artillery could have more risk of encountering the drama meta stuff but yeah players I've encountered have been very non-toxic. Don't read world chat either because it can get bad sometimes.
