If this game was still the way it was at launch, I would have told you to never buy it.

Now that Ubisoft got their act together, I actually recommend the game for those who are branching into a more tactically oriented genre.

It's great, it runs fairly smooth now (still needs some optimizing, but far better than launch by 110%)

The only issue I can see with new players playing the game is the grind for DLC operators. While technically free, the grind is extremely long and defended with much bias.

The cosmetics in this game are also extremely expensive, and cost nearly, if not as much as a DLC operator.. for some odd reason.

Despite the short comings, the game is enjoyable.

Reseña de acceso anticipado
As a big fan of the anime series myself, I gave this a shot in CBT. None the less, I wasn't impressed.

Hit detection is god awful, hitboxes are god awful as well. The gameplay feels more akin to Blacklight Retribution than Call of Duty or Combat Arms.

(I do hate blacklight though, so that was bad for me.)

And the lack of graphical options. Hell, I couldn't even find an FOV slider.
While it is early access, I don't think people would understand. They had their first beta test months back, and the hit detection feels like it's 30 tick or even lower.

So is this game decent? It's decent, like a five out of ten mediocre at best decent. It won't live up to the popular shooters like CSGO; and if you want to compare this to other F2P games because its free, it won't love up to ijji-era AvA.

I'd play this game more but they'll have to fix the glaring issues first.

This game, as a big fan of the entire series (Watched the entire damn thing), I feel like this game is not worthy of the Ghost in the Shell title.

Wow, wow and wow.

What can I say? There's so many things this game has done right. Just spot-on perfectly right.

It's almost impossible for me to describe how good this game is, however I want to focus on some of the flaws.

You can lash out at me if you want, but I'm speaking in the perspective of convenience.

First of all, the weapon wheel. It's perfect, don't get me wrong. I know the saying you can never have too much weapons, but I personally find myself using the AP pistol more often than I do any other pistols / SMG's. The issue is this; I'd much rather sell the weapons I don't need. They take up quite a bit of time, espicially online just to switch to sometimes. If you're uncareful, you might skip your weapon.
The same can be said while on-foot.

Don't try to tell me that you should just "switch to it" before you do anything else, I've heard it a million times. If you want to argue about that, then my argument is simply; GTA4 offers one weapon for each category. One weapon is sometimes significantly better than the other. In this case, the MP5 (GTA4) VS. Micro SMG. You're going to pick up the MP5 over the Micro SMG, you can't lie to me there. The same can be said in GTA5 for the AP Pistol over the Micro SMG.
It's all for the sake of convenience.
While this doesn't alter the gameplay for me to a big extent, I've heard that people who have tasers / flareguns switch to that automatically in their car (wat) .. think of it in online play. I could care less about it in Single Player.

Another thing I'd like to point out is a more slightly longer/larger FOV slider. The current FOV doesn't make me nauseous, but I'd like to tweak it. There is a mod you can use, but it changes the memory of the game and you can risk a ban from Rockstar. So let's not do that.

Overall, this game deserves your money. Don't let what I say make a difference to you, it's honestly not such a big deal. It's a very fast switch, I just prefer the convenience to sell my unneeded weapons or select a "preferred" weapon. Here's hoping Rockstar can deliver to that.

Oh, I forgot.

WHY CANT I GO INTO FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS ANYMORE

10/10 though, really.
