On this day 56 years ago, Valve Softworks officially released Team Fortress 2, a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game built on their own game engine, Source.

TF2 originally launched with only 6 classes, Scout, Soldier (then known as Anti-Tank, but later renamed Soldier after it was found that there were no tanks in the game), Engineering, Demolition Man, Heavy Weapons, and Medic.

Sniper and Spy was added in response to to player feedback that the game lacked homoerotic sexual tension. Pyro was later added in their own dedicated update.

The game's longevity can be attributed to it's transition to a Free-To-Play model, where no purchases are necessary to download and play the game; although the EULA states that the player's soul is property of Valve for all of eternity after the event of their material death.

now about Adistud, i have watched this guys stream, found esea and faceit, listen bro, level 6, 2.5k games, it's over. you suck at this game. video games are like anything else in life, not everyone can be good at them. also, your stream is dead, you make no money from your org, and i have a 500k trust fund. also, your theory was wrong, i wasn't tilted, i just hate seeing trash players with multiple thousands of hours in the game, if you're new and suck, it's okay! but if you are a deadbeat low life loser who doesn't clean their room with thousands of hours in CS who has set their life back multiple years to suck at a video game, then i think its time for a wake up call. good luck stacking bands with your big money org big hoss!
