I've been playing this game for 2-3 years now, and it's just a hollow shell of what it used to be.

This game helped me out with my social anxiety and tough times, and met so many good friends along the way, but it's no longer like that now. They're pretty much trying to turn this game into a modern shooter, and making mods & campaign ports get less support over time.

The number of bugs that there is in the game that has not been fixed at the time of writing, 3 months since the new christmas update, such as, +use being broken due to "speed exploits" and skate maps (why the ♥♥♥♥ did they remove this?), it was probably the best for adjusting a jump.
Ospreys crashing servers as soon as they go down, func_pushables not being able to be lifted thus breaking most maps that use it for progressing (even official maps from the base game!), and a whole lot of bugs. All the while adding useless features that aren't optimized, instead of fixing their game. It's a pain in the ass to find a playable map at this point.

The majority of the community members have to work themselves off to fix these issues that the devs haven't or don't care to fix to run this game properly. The servers that i used to hang around are pretty much ceased updates, due to how frustrating it is to fix this unplayable piece of garbage.
The devs are killing this game at this point, it was the community all along that kept this game alive.
There's still a few active devs that are constantly trying to revert the mistakes and fix maps, and props to them for actually caring about their community.

Plus, if you try to criticize the devs, good luck doing that, they're pretty much gonna ban you or mute you in their discord server, thinking that you're trolling the devs in that ciclejerk chamber if you do any type of criticism. That's how toxic they are.

At this point, it's best to leave the game to die. maybe then, just maybe, will the devs learn about their major ♥♥♥♥-ups and focus on fixing their game, and bring the game back to life. But hey, that's just a pipe dream.
