some friends convinced me to install this, and i tried it out with them. i did not enjoy it, even with most of a prebuilt team.

the body switching mechanic is clunky and a bit more difficult that i would like. some folks we played against had a better handle of it for sure.

the game is deeply, deeply ugly. it's not that it's poorly made, but i didn't personally like the stylistic choices of the character customization or the maps.

i'd rather just play Valorant.

I wasn't initially going to buy this. My husband insisted that I would love it and got it for me as a gift. There are tons of options, so as a player I didn't feel boxed in. The characters are complex and engaging, even the NPCs. There's definite replayability and it's different every time depending on the choices you make. It's also just a beautiful game. It's clear the dev team loves and is passionate about the subject matter.

I wasn't at all familiar with Larian before this game, and they're probably my new favorite studio now. The amount of work they put into this game is incredible, and the devs from other studios that flamed them for making them look bad should be stepping up to Larian's level if they want to keep charging $60, $70, $80 dollars for games.
