One of the greatest games I've ever played. Here's hoping FROM decides to make a kick-ass DLC or two.

This game is not finished.
The potential for it is immense, but there are so many issues right now. There's enough content for me to recommend it as it stands, but I really hope that they continue working hard and fixing/adding plenty of content.
To be honest, most of the basics are there. It's a REALLY fun game: I put 12 hours in the first day I got it. Unfortunately, there are so many bugs and balance issues that it makes some parts of the game unplayable. For instance, it seems nearly impossible to gain Influence with a faction as the game currently sits unless they happen to have certain policies enacted. Even then, your party needs to be a certain level in order to take advantage of those policies, and gaining levels is an absolute grind.
Another weird quirk of Bannerlord: I've now reached the point where almost all of my armor/weapons are endgame level (at only Player Level 14). Unfortunately, I'm still in the baby stages of my party growth and am constantly in fear for my life.
Another example: I just took my first castle (in 28 hours, yes). Within 2 ingame days my faction had declared war upon 2 more factions, bringing our grand total to 4 simultaneous wars. Within the next 7 ingame days, the KING of one of the larger factions we were at war with came to besiege my castle with 980 men. Including my already existing 150 garrison, I had 250 men to my name. Needless to say, we were slaughtered. That's not fun.
I absolutely love the huge scale of battles and the ability to go into first-person while fighting with your men, but man some parts of this game blow.
