A game that I have beaten over three times and I am sure that the number will keep growing as time goes on.

Need to unload? Play this.
Want good level design, a variety of weapons? Play this.
Need an addictive and fun gunplay mechanic to go with the variety of weapons? Play this.

Even though the story of this game doesn't require you to play the previous entries to have an understanding of what's going on, I still highly recommend doing so. It's not about the setting or the key plot points of it that matter (although they're quite trivial in the first place); it's all about Max himself. Playing the games from the start point will give you an idea of who Max is, and I believe it is important to go through his literal downfall personally in order to begin playing 3.

That being said, I consider 3 to be the best entry in the series, and also the perfect ending to this trilogy. I would of course certainly love more of this, but on the other hand... If there's one character in the video game industry that deserves peace - it's Max. And peace is what he gets at the end of this.

In short - just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play Max Payne.

To say that I was skeptical about playing this game would be an understatement. I've avoided it ever since it came out, despite its popularity. I was pretty much convinced that the game revolved around teenage drama with a bit of a twist, and truth be told, that didn't really speak to me. I know, I know - don't judge a book by its cover, right?

Alright, about the game. You could definitely describe the game in a way that I did at the beginning - in its core Life is Strange IS a teenage drama with a twist, but in a good way. There's not a lot you can say about it without spoiling too much, so I'll try to keep it short.

It's a story-driven adventure game, much like the Telltale library of games. Most of the gameplay (if you can even call it that) revolves around dialogue, walking around and collecting clues. What adds a little bit of diversity to all of this, is that you have the ability to reverse time. This is obviously situational, you cannot just reverse the whole game, but it definitely adds a bit more structure to how it plays.

But it's not the gameplay that matters in a game like this - it's the story, the characters and the urge to solve whatever mystery there is behind all of that. In the end, Life is Strange went from a game that I stayed away from, to something that's gonna stay in my memory as one of the best stories I've ever experienced, and rightfully so. When it finally finished, I was speechless and with no shame I can admit that I was holding back tears.

So if for some reason you are as skeptical as me about trying this one out - don't be. Give it a try. I can't promise that you won't be disappointed, but there's a chance that you might get the same thing out of it as I did, and that is a good enough reason to give it a shot.

Only one question remains: Did I beat the game, or did the game beat me?

I am gonna go ahead and compare Rainbow Six Siege to CS:GO, like many others do - but there's a good reason for that.
To give you an understanding of my transition to Siege, you must know that I've played over 1,600 hours of CS:GO on this account and another 600 on my smurf account. To this day I think that CS:GO is one of the best multiplayer shooters ever made, but at this point it has been heavily malnourished by its creators and in turn, the community.
What I love about CS:GO is the factor of skill. A testament to a good game is that you get better at it the more you play, and CS is, or WAS, just that. That was when the only thing that mattered in the game was how good of a player you are. But that has changed a long time ago. CS:GO has become a money making machine and nothing more. Valve has proven to not give a crap about the "everyday player" by having an anti-cheat system that is beyond broken. For a company that makes SO MUCH money, you'd think that protecting the game from cheaters would be their priority. It isn't. The priority is new cases, skins - simply just more ways to make more money. I came to a point where I had to pay an additional 7$ a month for ESEA to properly play CS:GO, but I gave hope of supporting a game that is simply heading nowhere. And I'm not going to dwell deeper into the community - anyone who has ever played the game, will know how toxic, immature and unpleasant it is.

After I gave up hope on Counter Strike, I started looking for a shooter that would replace it. I've tried many - Insurgency, Battlefield, Call of Duty (well I had to try) to no avail, because even though I had fun playing those games, they were all missing something - something that would keep me there for longer. And then I found Siege.
Even though I'm only about 90 hours into the game, I already know I'm going to keep playing for a lot, lot longer. It has everything I was looking for. Skill factor? Check. Good maps (mostly) and a lot of ways to approach a situation? Check. Customisation that doesnt require you spending hundreds of dollars? Check.
With Siege you get to appreciate the hours you put into it, because the game might be easy to get into, but it requires a lot of hard work to master. And that makes it a good shooter. It plays however you want it to play - either fast paced, or a slower tactical approach and it rewards you for actually using your brain. I was never a big fan of Ubisoft, but with this, and the few hours I played of For Honor, they're finally heading in the right direction.

So if you're tired of CS:GO, and you're looking for a replacement, try Siege. If you give it enough time to realise the depth of the game, I'm certain you will not be disappointed.

I still remember the cold, snowy winter of 2010 when I first played this gem. The story gripped me tight and wouldn't let go until the very end, still leaving me wanting for more. Playing this during the winter is highly recommended by the way.
While a lot of people complain about the second part of the game - superpowers, magic etc. I think it's actually the best part of it all. You kind of go through everything alongside Lucas Kane - at first you're confused, then you get a better understanding of things, and towards the end - you're just a no-♥♥♥♥♥-given badass straight out of a Matrix movie.

It was my first Quantic Dream game and even though I've played both Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls by now, Fahrenheit is the only one that I keep coming back to.

CS:GO Review
Matchmaking is broken in almost every single way possible. It's been years and they still can't get proper Anti-Cheat or proper tickrate - this shouldn't be acceptable.

As a huge Fallout fan, I am loving every minute of this. The dialogues are ♥♥♥♥, but whatever. Everything else is top notch.

Early Access Review
Now I've only played it for a couple of hours, but I'm pretty sure I've already done what there is to be done. I killed a guy right after he looted his air drop, got top notch gear, killed a few other people, drove a car for a bit, crafted some stuff, looted a whole city and some outskirts. So far? Not that impressive at all.

The whole thing about air drops is surprising. I did not expect SOE to go that far, but I'm assuming that it's going to get fixed, as well as all the other bad aspects of the game. This is unfortunately a negative review, but it might change as the development goes on. I really do have high hopes for this title, because the engine is really nice in terms of mechanics as well as visuals. So they've got that going for them at least, which is nice.

At the moment:
+Good engine (Mechanics, Visuals)
+Spooky atmosphere

-No content
-Air drops with weapons, ammo, significant gear
-Not that big of a map

Not a good start, for sure.

An amazing, immersive shooter. Just add a 5v5 matchmaking and I'll love you forever.

...please?
