For lack of a better answer, CS:GO. Has helped me improve in every aspect of every other game I play. The 1100+ hours allowed me to fine-tune my target to pinpoint accuracy. This is a universal skill, but the simplicity of CS:GO gunplay made it easier to master. The other important factor is general gaming knowledge. It takes some getting used to from game to game, but fast thinking and the "what will I do" mentality are common. All thanks to a 7-year-old $15 Steam game, I am now a better gamer in all genres.
