Upcoming game, brilliant design, so much improved over the original! Need to let others know how to get the ships I get from my own music, though.

I have played a lot of this game and enjoyed every minute. You can create an adventure world to share with everyone. You can build things and share them easily with the Steam Workshop. You can build the creations of others like putting together intricate 3D puzzles. You can explore endless Adventure Worlds created by others in the community. You can farm, care for pets, and dig for resources, or you can kill everything and use tech and explosives to acheive your goals. Lots of choices, tons of fun, cute and original fauna, beautiful flora, and only lacking one major thing...a MOD community!

If you want music, puzzles, challenge, fun, meditation, intensity, relaxation, contstant overwhelming frustration that is so wonderfully and perfectly cathartically painful...then you have found your game!!!

Chime Sharp is everything we hoped the original would be! The original game had only one real play mode and an insant difficulty level. Chime Sharp offers 5 different play modes, a practice mode, global leaderboards, integration into Twitter and Facebook, and mind-crushing joy when you scream and shout your way through each and every excruciating pleasure!!!

I love this game! It's the greatest thing a masochist could ever play!

If you are OCD, you will remember the nightmare of losing your fragments every time the dreaded and merciless progression of the LIGHT bar of MUSIC would encroach upon your helpless psyche. Well, fear no more!!!!

SHARP Mode allows you to cuddle your little fragments! You can take your time completing masterpiece puzzles or by bullying your way through overlapping patterns to the brutal end! Chime's original iteration had but 6 songs. Fred Deakin's Lemon Jelly Ghosts is Nightmare fuel for the puzzle-hearty!!!

And I still have the best video on YouTube for 100% completion on that thing!!! RIGHT AWN!!!!!!

Now...the challenge...Challenge Mode in Chime Sharp adds Lemon Jelly to every one of the 15 songs available to play right out of the virtual box (I miss the smell of fresh ink on the instruction manuals).

And if you think Challenge Mode is tough...wait till you get a load of MY SCORES! Good luck taking me down!



7/10 - Will probably still play it forever.

I very rarely post reviews of the games I play because most of the time I stream my gameplay, first-looks and such on Twitch.tv. But I need to express my adoration of this precious gem! The characters are extremely well-developed, the story line touching and the game play itself spectacular. You play the part of Ruh-Set (Recette), a girl in danger of losing her home due to her long-missing adventurer-father's massive debts. The twist is that you do not just grind away money in dungeons, although that CAN be a part of the game if you so choose, but you manipulate economy and win the hearts of people in the adventure-boom of the growing city of Pensee. Every playthrough is different (not entirely, but, well-enough). Dungeons are adaptive and Rogue-Like Randomized, and to think this is a game released long before such elements started to become more popular. Play control is SUPER-tight. I mean...tight...like a TIGER, tight!!! Each playable character (and there are quite a few adventurers whose hearts you win through generosity and honesty) has their own play-style and stats, and even personal gear.

If you love Anime, you will marry this game. If you love a unique approach to the Zelda: A Link To the Past style adventure and exploration engine, you'll spend hours in the dungeons, trying to decipher the clues hidden from you by your Faerie friend, Tear. The sense of humor is spectacular.

Do not be deceived, though. Men act like MEN! Women act like women! Robots and ancient constructs act like...well...you'll see!!! Or will you?! Not every character comes into play each time through, unless...

Music and sound is wonderful, with lovely voice acting and totally believable fun, antics, character-origins revealed through game-play.

This is not a girl-only-game!!! You play the part of a young girl, yes, and interract from that viewpoint. Guys could take some hints by trying to understand Recette AND Tear's reactions to things and people and events about how young ladies think.

I could not give this game a higher rating or any more of my love. Anime fans, this is a must-buy! Dungeon crawlers will LOVE the huge variety of items in the Encyclopoedia (1000s of items, many of which you make through ingredient fusion and alchemy), so even crafting is involved!!!

And did I mention the CLEVER placement of other game and film references integrated with subltle finesse into many aspects of the game?! You'll know what I mean when you strike the first Gogo-er...EXIT door....yeah, right! :D

This game is absolutely brill! I love it! I really hope the best for this wonderful game design team. God bless you guys! Play this game! It is VERY super cute awesome badass funs!!!!!

I highly recommend this game. It is hilarious. But even should you choose to break the rules of the game, you come to the realization that the game was already prepared for your rule-breaking. Let's keep it B for Binary!
