A simple, but relaxing game that is actually really fun!

A really good FPS for anyone looking for a good, strategical game which is more realistic than COD and other popular FPS's. This game isnt just about the spray and pray and you have to learn everything about it from the controls, weapon selection and economy to play it effectivley. I would recommend this game due to its F2P styles with the only paid items being skins. You can get some nice skins for your weapons for around 10-20p per to start off and then move up to higher grade skins. But this is optional. Even on budget PC builds (mine includes integrated Intel HD 4600 Graphics) you can still get a solid 60fps.

A downside is sometimes the Half-Life engine can be extremly buggy. For example, my playtime a the time i am writing is about 800 hours, this is due to the Half-Life engine not knowing when the game is shut and continues clocking up my time regardless if im in-game or not. Another downside is the bad community for new players. As a new player you are expected to not be very good at the game until you have played about 5-6 hours of it (especially for this game in particular). You will get kicked from your matches for being bad, and these can clock up to getting a competitive matchmaking ban. I personally deem this unfair, but that is how Valve have decided to work things.

In summary, good game and would highly recommend it if you are good to FPS games. If you are starting out, play with bots on this game and learn the guns before doing Competitive Matchmaking. Good luck!

The updates are few and far apart, the content in this game is fun for what there is, I personally believe the mod to be better, but thats not for me to say.

The recent price rise is ridiculous, for how buggy the game is, it is definitley not right. Dont get me wrong, I have played this game with a few friends, etc.

At its current state its development isnt what I would expect after a few years. I wouldnt recommend in its current state.

Really good game start-off! I like the minecrafty sort of style. Although it needs work I really like it.
PROS:
- Good graphics and shading
- Thorough crafting system

CONS:
- Networking issues - my friend would be close to 6 minutes in game time behind :(
- Big price tag :/

Really good game, still in alpha so excpect some bugs, but overall a great semi-realistic survival feel. Good range of servers and awesome that they allow modded :)

I can't wait to see this game get developed further, when it comes out of alpha i know it will be amazing
