This game is so epic!! There is no game out there that quite encapsulates the feeling of firing 150 rounds of an MG into a swarm of satisfyingly crunchy bugs. It's so cool & cinematic to call in airstrikes and orbital bombardments, and the amount of support weapons and backpacks allow for the creation of very flexible, varied and fun loadouts.

The moment-to-moment gameplay is really fun, but over the course of a mission you will do a lot of running. Although, due to the power and amount of eagle & orbital stratagems you can have, it is viable to peel off from your team and not just brainlessly follow them around. However, in general, the game is quite grindy and collecting samples can come down to RNG / luck. Also, there is a very clear best gun, being the Breaker shotgun - some are barely worth using, so a bit of balancing here would be good.

It runs REALLY well when it's not crashing, which usually happens on loading in / leaving missions - they seem to give rewards RIGHT as the ship takes off, so if you crash from the planet exit cutscene, you will still get the full missions rewards.
The matchmaker is really good and it takes barely 40 seconds to go from entering matchmaking to landing with your teammates, but it may be better to create your own lobbies as admins can freely kick anyone they want, which could, and does get abused.

The premium currency is collectable both in-game and from the free "battlepass" (warbonds, where you spend medals on tiered equipment such as guns, armour, emotes, capes etc). I found I collected the required 1000 currency just as I reached the end of the freepass.
The premium warbond gives similar (but better) rewards to the free bond. As the equipment is better, and some of the guns being meta, it could be argued it's p2w but I think there's a lot of fun to be had with the free weapons while grinding the paid warbond.
These warbonds seem to have no expiry date, so players will be able to progress through them freely at any point in the future.
The currency can also be spent in the rotating "super store" to buy skins for your character, most of which I've seen look really cool, and emulate star wars clone designs mostly lol.

I'm looking forward to any future updates, even paid DLCs, the devs will make. From the in-game map it seems up to 3 new enemy races could be added.

I have 1000 hours on Moira so I might be biased in saying this game has one of THE WORST communities in online gaming!

Every balance change is wild and they always try and counter-balance their balances in the weird way possible.

I am Master-Master-GM across each role and I am not lying when I say there is sometimes no distinguishable difference between silver and GM players. Rank is, in certain cases, entirely based on time played. Sure, someone who knows the game can make a new account and get GM1 in 10 games (not sure if this is possible anymore) but otherwise if you have a 50%+ winrate, you will eventually reach masters / grandmasters - and it's not that hard.

It's kinda crazy how new skins / "bundles" are worth £15 - £30 when in Overwatch 1 we would get all of them for free, with only being locked out of event skins, of which older skins could still be bought during that event every year. But then again, you don't have to interact with that side of the game - you can't see your own character anyway.

Quick play is also a frustrating experience because you will get placed with people who are happy to use only the keyboard, die a bunch of times, and spend the whole time respawning. In fact, this is kind of common, considering the fact that these people are presumably playing the game to - you know - play the game.

Despite all that I think Overwatch 2 is a very fun game, you can easily spend a couple hours every evening having a fun time - especially if you don't play very late at night while tired, on weekends, during school holidays, after a major balance patch, and extra so after the 2 week competitive lockout of new characters for at least 3-5 days. Sometimes you will get a team that clicks and you will have the most fun gaming experience of the last year, other times you will not be able to believe your teammates are real functioning human beings who walk around in the real world.

Some big changes are coming to this game soon though, and as during any other point in Overwatch's lifespan, my opinion could be thrown out the window immediately. Just make sure to take breaks for the sake of your mental - oh, and the 2 years where we received NO updates were the most fun time I had on this game.

Gizmo is the best thing to happen to me - and I am the best thing to happen to Gizmo. I am the world's #1 Gizmo player. I live, breathe, and dream Gizmo. It is so, so, so sad that we have had to be separated by the servers being shut down, but I eagerly await the re-release of Multiversus so that me and my beautiful Gizmo can be reunited.

its pretty short, finished it in 4 hours - didnt even know about these cool abilities until the last mission smh.
wouldnt mind more (free) missions! if they were to come out as dlc... well warhammer can have my money when darktide comes out.

pretty fun game, normal is kind of easy with hard being too hard - well maybe if i knew about the abilities. lol.
voice acting is pretty ♥♥♥♥, i like the cutscenes where you can tell it was recorded developer mouse movement when your character looks around. probably not worth £30 tbh
