Wow! What a ton of fun this game turned out to be! It was challenging, which was enjoyable. It was fast-paced when you wanted it to be, and it can slow down a bit if you prefer that.

I streamed this game, and both myself and my audience had a great time. There's not much more to say, than this game is just, plain, fun. 9.5/10 Would recommend.

If you can get this game LESS than $10, it's pretty decent.

Too easy, if you want hard puzzler, look elsewhere— you WILL be disappointed.

If you get this on sale and want to be weirded out for 3-4 hours, you'll enjoy yourself. Full price = avoid.

First off, I streamed this game.

My co-op partner was my younger brother.

I would say we did enjoy moments during this game, but we had some issues as well. The biggest issue for me was that it was hard to place what the game was. As in, who was its target audience. If the game was more difficult, perhaps it would have been a better product overall. But it was very simple and played fast-paced, without much challenge.

The caveat, as my twitch audience pointed out, is that the game WOULD be better suited, maybe, for a gamer and a significant other— instead of two experienced gamers.

For us, as gamers, it would have felt punchier if it was a bit shorter. Full playthrough was 10.5 hours, and 6 would have been the sweetspot.

If you want something to play with your girlfriend/wife/boyfriend/husband, that isn't an experienced gamer, then you might actually enjoy this game a bit more, and based on that I WOULD recommend it.

There are moments you won't forget, either way. 4.75/10

I played this game for 10.3 hours start to finish. I hated it. I screamed. I cried. I drank. While I streamed it.

The story was dark... shocker. I enjoyed the moral quandaries. I enjoyed the game. Yes... that is oxymoronic. But that really sums up this game as best as I am capable of.

I hate the genre, but I still enjoyed the game and story. IF IF IF.... you ARE looking at reviews for games in this genre, you WILL enjoy this game.

Ok... I truly enjoyed the STORY. I enjoyed guessing at the relationships between the NPCs/main characters. However, I streamed this game, and asked my audience if they would recommend this game after playing through it in its entirety.

They voted to NOT recommend this game as a committee.

Our issues were mostly:
-Price versus game length
-Running
-Pure simulator mechanics

If you LOVE simulators with a great story, buy this. if you are looking for value, look somewhere else.

I still enjoyed this game. But it was quite SLOW and short.

What an experience! My goodness. The moment I turned on Ori... I'll admit, I was a little eager to get through the story intro and onto the game. And it's a wonderful game, as far as gameplay and mechanics go. Perfectly rewarding.

But as the seemingly shallow story continued to unfold... I genuinely found myself crying at the conclusion. Good old-fashioned man-tears.

Ori and the Blind Forest is spectacular. It is the definition of an instant classic. 10/10 would recommend.

I decided to return to the island of Myst after a couple of decades. The game was so much easier than I remember as a child— for obvious reasons.

I would not recommend this game at full price. If you spend $5-7 on it, then I would recommend it for a couple hours of relaxing puzzling.

Ok, here's the truth about this game. I am struggling to avoid voting it down, because the concept of a Puzzle game where I felt like I HAD to stop and look something up after 3 hours on a puzzle, makes me feel like it should get voted down.

HOWEVER, with the exclusion of: 1 puzzle (that was solvable, and I even knew I was looking at the clue, but it just was too abstract), 1 puzzle (that was an unsolvable red herring), and a math system that I COULD have learned, but ultimately decided wasn't worth the time it would take of my life, everything else in the game was beautifully put together.

Some puzzles were quite difficult. But ultimately, all of them presented a challenge that I felt was 'fair'.

Thematically, I feel like I personally enjoyed the game a lot. I thought the story was immersive, and after completing the game at exactly 20.1 hours... I rushed to Google to delve more into any bits I missed.

I played Myst when I was 9-10 and probably didn't appreciate it as much as I should have at that age. At 33, I very much appreciated this game.

Recommended.

PS. I recommend Googling 'Obduction unsolvable puzzle'. You may feel like you are cheating yourself as I did, but in retrospect, I genuinely wish I had those two hours of my life back. It really stopped the flow of the game and story for me.

I was semi-enjoying this. I was plunking along, with a few puzzles stretching me to really look at my surroundings and try to be observant. But then the puzzles just became nonsense, and that's when the game lost its fun and charm.

At the point where the puzzles started to become guessing games, is when I had to stop the game. I came back to it a few times randomly over the years to try and see if I missed something before FINALLY giving in, and looking the puzzle up online (which I hated doing).

When I saw the answer, and how random it was to the surroundings, I realized this game was getting uninstalled. Would not recommend.

It's a civ game. Honestly? Just awesome
