This game is amazing.


Super Bernie World is one of if not, the best game I have ever played. No. It is the best piece of media or entertainment I have consumed. No again. This game is the best thing on the planet of Earth. This is what historians will research thousands of years from now. This game is truly a gem this game is truly more than just a game, it is a work of art. I would even go so far as to say that this game is direct PROOF that there is a God. God himself crafted this and gave it to us mortals as a reward of such for making it through the past couple of years. Super Bernie World is God's gift to humanity. We did not deserve such an amazing present on the fateful day March 9, 2020 but boy ever did we love it. This game was cherished by billions, almost everyone on the planet was playing this game. This game went on to win Game of the Year, taking it over one of the best games ever made Super Mario Brothers 2 (US). Which would have won if God did not bless us with such an amazing work of art. For once there was harmony in the world. The flowers were blooming better than ever, all endangered species were starting to make their comebacks, my mother started talking to me again. All was well in the world, but you may be asking: "Why this is such a critically acclaimed game, and why is it standing among the likes of Super Mario Brothers 2 (US) and Minecraft Story Mode Season 1 and 2?" Well I'll tell you why


GAMEPLAY:
First of all I would like to say that this game right here, has the best gameplay I have ever, and I mean EVER, had the pleasure of playing. My fingers just feel right when playing this game with the beautiful yet simplistic way of controlling Super Bernie. Using the classic Arrow Keys to move or J and L to move side to side and K to crouch, your choice. And Jumping being binded to the X key and Running/Firing (Which we will talk about in a second) being binded to the Z key. Being a side scrolling platformer it obviously needs a few power ups. But Bernie knows this. Your main powerups in this game are Vermont Chedder Cheese, taking on the roll of the Super Mushroom, a Red Rose, taking on the roll of the Fire Flower, and a Upwards Facing Fist called "Not Me. Us", taking on the roll of a Super Star, all coming from Super Mario Bros from the Nintendo Entertainment System. Even though this game inspired a tiny bit of Super Bernie World, it is astronomically different which includes being a better game and has Bernie as a playable character, Mario doesn't have that. There are a few different enemies in the game, those being: Bill Blaster, Gopoboo, ICE Bullet, Magamba, Mitch Paratroopa having a Green and Red variant, Mitch Troopa also having a Green and Red varient, Tiki Torcher, and Trashman.


STORY: (SPOILERS AHEAD)
The story in this game is complex and intriguing in so many different ways. I was so very invested in the story and jumped out of my chair and cheered when I finally was able to defeat and take down the evil and corrupt Donald J. Trump, former president of the United States of America in the last level of the game. At the start of the game and at the start of each world after your main character; Super Bernie, and the boss of the World have a bit of deep dialogue with each other which contributes to the world building of this game a whole lot. World 1's boss is Ted Cruz, World 2's boss is Jim Jordan, World 3's boss is Mitch McConnell, and of course the final boss of the game is none other than Donald J. Trump. Each world has 3 levels, adding up to a outstanding 12 levels throughout the whole game. Each level having the name of a red, evil republican supporting state. Those states, in order are: New Mexico, Louisiana, Texas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Florida, New York, and D.C, being the home of Donald Trump it makes perfect sense to make this the final the last level of the game. Bringing tensions high and increasing the stakes of the game. In world 1 Bernie says this back to Ted Cruz when you press Start Game on the title screen: "'Medicare for All' will lower health care costs in this country by $450 billion a year and save the lives of 68,000 people who would otherwise have died.". World two: "The American people are tired of subsidizing multi-billionaires who own some of the largest and most profitable corporations in America.". In World 3 he says a word that my parents would not be happy if I said so I will not being saying it, maybe you should play to find out. And in World 4 Bernie says the phrase of "Not me, us!". despite being the only character in this game. But maybe he is a much higher being that we presumed what if he knows hes in a game and he knows that billions of people are playing? That would be pretty crazy, but this is only a theory. Last thing from the story that I would like to touch on is the final fight with Donald J. Trump. This fight is absolutely insane. Donald Trump pleads Bernie not to hurt him, because he knows his true power and how capable he his he knows he has no chance in trying to brawl him. So instead he pleads for his life saying "Please don't kick me out of the White House! How will I make money if I'm not president??". Bernie visibly hesitates for a second, thinking should I really stop after I came all the way here. He decided to spare him this time and throws him in a cell underneath D.C, locking him away for all of eternity. This is truly a touching moment and really shows the flaws the character of Super Bernie has, his reluctance to kill showing his flexibility in his ways.


SEQUEL:
Last thing, the sequel to Super Bernie World named: Kitsune Tails, coming in 2023 is a exciting continuation of the Super Bernie narrative and takes place after Bernie became the President of the United States and his first act of President was to change every living person into a Fox/Kitsune girl. Outstanding move Mr. President.


CONCLUSION:
All in all. Super Bernie World has deserved all the praise it has ever gotten and much much more. Being the game of the year, decade, century and probably even a millennium or two. With its outstanding gameplay, involving, deep, and complicated story, and amazing art directory. I can say for sure 100% out loud with my chest with no second thoughts. That Super Bernie World is my favorite Game. Of. All. Time. And should be yours as well. That is why this game is amazing.
