Basically a 3D re-imagining of the first game

This game was a bit of a mess. A lot of dumb dialogue and unlikeable characters. Most of the really cool and interesting moments were short lived and felt like they were only there for the trailers.

The gameplay was enjoyable but lacked depth. Enemies felt the same to fight and the lack of a final boss is such a big letdown, instead you push a button and the game just ends.

I wouldn't recommend this game unless you are a diehard Wolfensten fan

Very interesting world and the story was also good. The fast paced gameplay is nice but playing on harder difficulties isn't as enjoyable. My few gripes with the game are as follows: taking damage while performing a takedown is BS and got me killed many times, one level had you open the roof hatch of a train and whilst you were in this 30 second long action you could get shot, some of the levels were a bit confusing and some gameplay element were not described to you (like being able to shoot the turrets out in the bridge level).

Overall enjoyable game.

By far the single greatest sandbox game to date. No other game that I can think of has this much to do in it (which is literally anything). Some servers let you build working spaceships that you can walk around in and fight others, another server lets you fight off massive waves of zombies, some servers let you RP. But then theres singleplayer/private servers and playing with friends, making scenarios, building machines, dropping 200 nukes onto some birds...

One of the few games that everyone should experience at least once in their lives.

A must have for everyone. This game is arguably the best game that valve has made (aside from tf2) and the fun almost never stops. Highly recomend this game and getting it for free was a nice bonus. I would pay for this game in a heartbeat if I had some extra money. Good fun and is an essential game for any one on PC. 10/10 playing more and more, loving it more and more.
