I normally post goofy comments for LoLs, but this game deserves a review from me. This is, by far, one of the most well-developed and immersive games I've ever played, period! I picked this up originally because the screen-shots reminded me of a Paper-Model Baldur's Gate, with turn-based strategy and stuff like that. But it is so much more than that. This is what you'd get if you mixed Darkest Dungeon style art (paper models), with DnD lore and character development, with Baldur's gate gameplay. I freaking love it!! You get to create a campaign, either solo, or with friends online, and immerse yourself in hours upon hours of character development. The story-telling is done through a comic-book style of reading and artwork. The characters that you randomly generate, or recruit throughout the campaign, actually get pulled into the comics and have dialogue (THAT ACTUALLY BUILDS ON THE STORY!!!) and interactions with each other. This game reminds me so much of Dungeons and Dragons where you can devote hours and energy into fleshing a character out, developing them through gameplay, and with one miscalculation lose them through the raw battles that get thrown at you. I legit got tears in my eyes when my character that had been with me from the start, and had received a blessing from a wolf god and was undergoing a transformation, finally met his downfall in a dungeon encounter. The cutscene, along with the story-telling part of how he fell, couldn't have been more theatrical and amazing if I wanted it to be. And I have had dozens of these and I'm not even 10 hours into it yet.
I hope this comment gets seen by the developers to keep, and I hop they keey doing what they are doing. Add to this game in every way you can, add more stories, just keep building it, because I can guarantee you (with almost 100 percent confidence), that this game is going to be HUGE if you keep it up!
