This takes all the fun of the originals and ramps them up with tighter, more responsive controls. If you loved the PS1 games, you will have a blast playing through the remastered trilogy. Who knew Spyro could look so good?!

This was one of my first console games as a kid that I understood what I was doing and it holds a warm spot in my heart, but this remaster does everything right for it to bring back all those feelings.

While this game has it's issues, those being rather minor minor occasional glitches that are usually ironed out, it's easily the best and most enjoyable hunting game ever made. With many reserves to choose from, ranging all across the world, there is no shortage of game to hunt. From the standard White-tail Deer all the way to an African Lion, what you want to hunt is entirely up to you. Weapon variety is solid, including rifles, pistols, bows, and handguns of all sizes.

The game is beautiful and fun to wander around in. After 200 hours, I still get the shakes when I spot a diamond down in the valley, call it in, and attempt that fatal shot.

Update after almost 500 hours: I've played a lot of multiplayer recently and it's definitely a positive in this game. If you have the DLC maps, you can invite your friends to play, whom may not have one of the reserves, and they can play on your version of the reserve without having to pay. It makes getting into the game and also deciding which maps you like/don't like a little less costly.

Diamonds are forever.

700+ hours: Still pee my pants when I spot a max level animal. That is all.

A really fun game to play with 3 friends. Combat is very smooth and satisfying. Each class plays different enough. Recommended when on sale.

Review for Sale Reward:

I have loved the DS series since the first game released. They are tactifully difficult, but not unfair. This game is one of the most atmospheric RPGs I have ever played. For these reasons, I highly suggest playing this game. You will die a lot, but don't give up, for there is a great chest ahead.

I resently finished this game. It is the best in the Souls franchise and overall a stunning game.

This was a fun game. It has a simple combat mechanic with a really interesting art style, paired with an interesting story and a narrator to die for. This game is well worth the money, especially on sale. If you enjoy an arcade style game with lots of different weapons and upgreades and a really solid story this is one for you. I liked it so much I played it twice. It has a NG+ system similar to Dark Souls so the replay value is very strong. 9.5/10

I played this game with the expectation that it would have an excellent storyline that would get me to the finish regardless of any major cons. I have to say that it did just that. The story itself is quite strong, with the majority of it, surrounding your main player character helping defeat the Templars and win the Revolution against the British. The game had it's share of bugs and rather bad performance, though you can expect that from Ubisoft. If you can get this game on sale it is definitely worth a playthrough. Especially if you enjoy games with historical contexts and killing a lot of red coats. 7.5/10

At the core, this is a fairly straight forward FPS with "special abilities". When it really comes down to it this game is mostly about the story. When you think you have nailed down what is actually happening, you will be thrown for a loop. One of the most compelling stories I've ever played through. Gameplay itself is fun, not repetitive, and can be difficult. Enemies are difficult to master and ammo is scarce. Having not played the two previous installments I have to say that this is fairly stand alone and I was never left wondering how or why something happened. This one is worth a go! 8.75/10

This is a shoot em up style game with a story line worthy of an oscar. Most of the game consists of cinematic cut scenes followed by Jon Woo style gun play. If you're a fan of shooting lots of bullets and asking questions later, this is a game for you. Don't take me wrong, this game was difficult. On medium, this took me around 12 hours to complete and I died several times. You can die from a headshot as easily as the enemies making the game very realistic. Visuals are also very pleasant. Lighting details are saturated and scenery is detailed. I rather enjoyed the exploding bullet holes of enemies in slow motion as well. I don't plan to play the multiplayer, but for $4.99 (Autumn Sale) it was well worth it for the solo campaign. 8.5/10

You will love and hate this game. You will die. Again and again, but you will keep coming back. It will suck you in and never let you go. After playing through this game several times on console I snagged this on a steam sale. The only real difference between the PC and console is the controls. The PC controls are hard to get used to. This is the only game I use a controller for on PC. If you enjoy challenging enemies, vast environments, and bosses that will make your head spin. Then Dark Souls is the game for you. This game is unlike any other that I have played before. 9.75/10
