tl;dr: Worth it to play with your regular squad

Fun to play with friends. I purchased it solely for that purpose and it was worth the $10 or so. At the time of this review, game plateaus with nothing to spend soul essence on once you've upgraded all the characters, meaning you have nothing more to work towards. Each run is different though, so there is replayability in trying out various builds.
But it's in early access and we'll see what they do.
