The most important part of any video game is being able to play it. And despite meeting specs, the game barely ran.

2 / 10 stars for being able to get a refund - I heard a lot of people weren't able to despite meeting the criteria.

Great graphics, has a lot of potential, but too boring and too little pilot training for its steep learning curve

Subnautica is still very much in beta but, as-is, it is still very much enjoyable. While the map does start feeling rather small after a few play-throughs, newcomers to the game will still have a lot to explore.
One thing that this game greatly capitalizes on is how foreign the underwater environment is to us. Humans are accustomed to being able to see vast distances, and traversing a mostly two-dimensional plane (forwards and backwards, left and right). Being (and pardon the pun) plunged into a realm that includes a third dimension - up and down - and with visibilities often limited to only a few dozen feet imbues a very different sense of eeriness fear, one not often introduced into games.

Can't wait to see what the future has in store for this game.

See all those hours I have logged? Yeah, some of those were from me falling asleep at the keyboard, but the rest are because the game is definitely that much fun.

This game is absolutely worth full-price. It's only two downsides are how demanding it can be on system resources, and how much time you're going to sink into the game.

Too many sandbox games focus on destroying, but here is one of the few where you not only create, but have to be thoughtful and (reasonably) practical with what you create.

And you will learn. The learning curve is pretty steep and can be incredibly frustrating, but stick with it. It took me a week just trying to figure out how to create maneuver nodes (kinda like waypoints in orbital mechanics), another week to successfully get a ship into orbit, another week after that before I landed a spacecraft on the moon, and another week after that before I could bring that spacecraft back.

What I learned about orbital mechanics and rocketry actually helped me pass a physics midterm.

The modding community for KSP is also phenominal. You can have a great time with the great diversity and variety you can create with just the vanilla, unmodded version, but each mod brings whole new, exciting, and often immensely helpful elements to the game. They're also very easy to install (drag and drop into one of the game's main folders). I think it can be argued that the mods and the modding community could be now considered half of the KSP experience.

I cannot reccomend this game enough.
