Dead by Daylight is a game I bought around 2017/2018 whenever Michael Myers came to the game. I was so bad at it, and not being a huge fan of PVP games, maybe I touched it 10 times over the next four years. Upon the game's Resident Evil chapter and the tail end of the 5th anniversary, I met up with an old friend who plays this game a lot, and together we have been playing it religiously for over a year now. I love it, plain and simple. Yes, the game has it's problems, and it always will - and this review is being left WEEKS BEFORE its major overhaul with perk changes and the like. Dead by Daylight is the time a game that might be repetitive and grindy, but it is the only game where I can play with friends against the likes of Leatherface and Sadako from Ringu, or sacrifice other players as Ghostface, and save my teammates as Leon S. Kennedy. The new Killer, the Dredge is terrifying and breathes some new life into this franchise. Always excited to see where DBD takes us next, despite it's shortcummings. Now, just update Myer's mask for the new Halloween films and for the love of God, GIVE US SPRINGTRAP PLEASE.
