Very nicely thought through game with captivating aesthetics, many secrets, a tempo that makes you enjoy the game, explore every corner while not getting bored by traveling. Some games of this genre tend to hinder you with obvious but time-consuming puzzles. Not this one. This one has a bit of a story, bit of a mystery, a few dialogues and humor instead while still making you think about the riddles.
Great for chill evenings with TV and controller.

Early Access Review
It is my first experience with sandbox rpg and I got immediately hooked.
Even though the game is still being worked on, it's a lot of fun for the price.
The only "downside" is that at the moment, you can complete all the main quests fairly quickly, you get to the strongest your character can be, make a nice, automated settlement and that's it.
No real reason to venture further and nothing new to be experienced by playing further (still a nice relax tho).
I hope that in future, developers will look into
- PVP mechanics (at the moment if someone joins your server with no cooperation in mind, nothing is stopping them from just leveling all your work in seconds)
- progressively rising difficulty (something like diablo 2 - it was still the same thing over and over but increasingly difficult and I loved trying to beat it) perhaps with rising distance from origin island keep adding stronger items and enemies?
- Along with some mechanics that would push players to migrate their settlement (cost of running, gain from land becoming insufficient as you venture further or something like that). Atm it's fairly easy to make settlers happy and you end up having so much excess food and resources, deleting it and burning it becomes like 10% of the game.

The authors should give some credit to the original 1993 Amiga/MS-DOS game UGH! they've copied minus the better physics and multiplayer.
Besides that it's ok. Nice music, short, challenging I like the sliding bonus thing. Add some settings (to be able to turn off sounds or use controller or at least keyboard in menu), iron out some issues with menu buttons that don't work (when you press restart it does nothing, when you press again, you start from level 1) and it will be fun game to kill an hour or two with.

The game is smooth, packed with ridiculous action and stunning visuals even after 5 years or how long has it been. Downside is repetitiveness - not much of a story to speak of and god-like ability of the main character makes the game-play feel like chore very soon as you go through enormous map and "liberate" one settlement after another again and again and again restroying the same objects scattered around similar bases, strike from heaven, nothing can harm you nothing can stop you. I'd appreciate a bit more challenge. A reason to cover a little in the fight or be forced to think about how to approach the base, because now you can just drop in the base packed with tanks, choppers, soldiers, sentries and just break it all without even minding the soldiers.
The mini-games (skydiving, racing) pose a nice challenge and there's a lot of things to be collected and various records to be set (although I feel like all of those have been broken by modders - it shows you who was better and no matter how you try every record is set several magnitudes higher than the game realistically allows)

BIG downside is poor PC optimization. All the controls are clearly meant for game-pad which results in motorbikes and cars having really strange turn gradient making especially the bikes nearly unusable. Key layout is the weirdest I ever encountered and if you change it for one type of vehicle, it changes for other too. Like you want to change plane controlls to wasd and arrows (instead of wasd zc shift ctrl (!)) but then you jump in the mech and cannot go straight. So you change it for the mech and then the helicopter shoots boosts with the same button etc etc... so you either
a) change key settings every time you get in a vehicle
b) accept the game settings and grow an extra pair of fingers from your palm
c) connect game-pad (which would be great if I was able to aim with it)
Also every time you minimaze the game it goes to window view

it's a fun concept. Must be great to play with friends. But when you just play online it gets either quite repetetive or confusing (as you start adding modes) pretty soon. It's basically a race camoflaged as strategy. Everyone is racing to be the first to start fireing heavy weapons and the one who does usually wins as the other is stopped at development.

my favorite strategy from Age of .. edition. More diverse than Age of empires II, nice and plain/playable unlike AoE III.

CS:GO Review
Very addictive, be careful :)
I've spent decent portion of my teen years playing 1.6 and after years of being game abstinent I've decided to give this a bit of a try. And BAM! I'm in it well over a thousand hours again (mostly Faceit). It's polished nice and clean gameplay. Nicely balanced, no confusing rubbish (reflections, grass, terrain collisions and all the other things new games are full of), clean edges, precise hitboxes, more focused on strategy, rather than effects and mass shootouts.

+ Most of the mini games are fun (once you figure out how to play them - the potato shooter took me a few tries before I figured out it's the one game in this whole app that makes use of grip buttons. The fish/shark mini-game I still haven't figured out).
The graphics are really pretty both from technical and creative side.

- You cannot choose what mini-game you want to play so something like a local competition with friends or family is out of question and that's a BIG fault. If it wasn't for that, this game would be a must on my party list.
Now you must go through all the board spinning and other animations to get to the fun stuff, you cannot replay the minigames you enjoy and often end up playing those you don't and you play on your own, because the community is small and most of my friends don't have VR.
I see this as major oversight on devs side. If it wasn't for this the game would get 1000 times more playtime and exposure.

5/10

I really like this game. Both single and multiplayer mode are very playable (although it's hard to find someone to play with unless you have a friend). Shooting physics feel realistic. I'm looking forward to that wireless endless room version (and hope it will be an update, not new game)
