I gave the 1896 'rebrand' 3 months and it only left me with disappointment. No weapons released in the past year gave me excitement, only dread and hatred for the player base. The UI has been absolute "NetflixHuluPrimeMaxPlus" rectangular garbage and the most recent post they made about addresses none of the massive issues surrounding it (but at least bug fixes are nice right? Plz gib us money). The actual gameplay and engine tweaks in the actual matches have been quite nice but dealing with the absolute state of that UI in between matches just makes me not want to play anymore. Just leave and never come back to my 5th most played game on steam for something nobody wanted.
People wanted a better UI for the game but what we got may as well be equal to the executives catheter bag remnants who pitched forth this design. I could go on about every nit pick and critique I have for this game but I don't want to make a wall of text about horrible battle pass grind, balance, matchmaking, and solos.

It brings me 'great sadness' to make the 'difficult decision' to leave this game with a negative review. Due to the rising costs of Pete Parsons outlandish wasting of money for personal gain we must lay off 220 people with lives and families in order to afford another exotic car. Today is a difficult day for anyone who is not a Bungie exec with actual job security and to those let go we will be giving the bare minimum as we use their desk space to park a new Corvette and remember their hard work. This is such hard news that we up at the top of the pyramid will downside from our standard $20 crying tissue bills to $100 ones instead. Please remember to keep supporting us and put more money in our pockets else we will have to lay off another 300 employees instead of the 750 currently on the chopping block. Thank you for all your money and time but also money you given us on our most profitable expansion yet and we hope to see your support on all future products.
