I first played L.A. Noire when it launched. At the time the hype was turned all the way up due to Team Bondi's bragging about how real the emotions on faces were.

They're not at all and at the time this greatly colored my take on the game. It was a neat concept poorly done.

It's still a really neat concept but moreso as a general detective game rather than a facial replication tech demo.

I do recommend it. It's graphics haven't aged well at all, and the faces look worse than ever but at least technology has improved to shift the (would this be an overton window?) window for the uncanny valley away from this kind of tech letting it feel less unsettling to play.

In short: Get it on sale and have fun ^.^

A short visual novel about a girl buying milk.

It's exactly as it says on the tin. At least for those of us who play this and see ourselves. I've been working with my wife to help her understand how my head works because our middle child is similar to me and well...this little novel helped display what goes on sometimes.

Sometimes, the victory is in waking up at all.

A simple yet powerfully moving game. I could hear echos of my own story in hers. <3 Thank you so much for making and publishing this game ^.^

I found this game to be entertaining while still telling a powerful story. One does not need to know anything about World War I to appreceate Valiant Hearts. The characters are all ones that I could relate to in ways and that makes the game much more compelling. By the end I was rejoying with their victories and saddend by their losses.
