Depending on your mood, this game can be very relaxing, extremely intense, or anywhere in between. When you want excitement, take all the highest paying jobs and venture off into the depths of space while avoiding or fighting pirates. When you want to chill, run passengers or cargo between core worlds. When you want depth, the most fascinating story lines can be found at spaceports. This game runs on anything, so I play it a lot when I only have my portable 2-in-1 laptop with me.

This game was a gift from a friend. I would have gotten it myself had I known how good it is; I believe it is seriously underrated. Even when I'm not playing, I like to talk strategy with others that also play.

FIX FOR BUG MENTIONED IN OTHER REVIEWS:
If the game doesn't let you play single player with an error about needing to buy the game, just completely close Steam and relaunch it.

I already had a Steam Machine built, running with four DS4 controllers while I eagerly awaited the Steam Controller release date. I only pre-ordered one controller, in case I didn't like it.

Metro: Last Light was my first choice to test the controller, as I normally find the first person shooter experience lacking with a controller. The first 15 minutes did not go well, it was like playing on a laptop with a touchpad. Then, I discovered the option to configure the controller. After applying a popular controller profile and making a few personal tweaks, the controller became my new favourite toy.

Despite initial frustrations, this controller is amazing and I never want to go back to an ordinary controller.
