Cute little game

Not installing another ♥♥♥♥♥♥ launcher

This game left a sour taste. There are only 3 areas out of which only one feels slightly more fleshed out. It's a shame, because it's imaginative and you can see there is clear potential there, but I simply cannot call it a finished game in this state. There's barely anything to do and there are still many embarrassing bugs, from enemies walking off ledges to your character gliding across with no animation to more frustrating ones such as being soft-locked out of hardening.

This game is simply amazing - has beatiful art direction and sharp writing. The story although simple is moved forward by dark and deep undertones. I haven't had this much fun in a good while, well worth its full price!

Global Offensive returns to its roots and puts an emphasis on gameplay over graphics. That's not to say the game doesn't look great, but the gameplay is driving the tank. I think Valve did a great job listening to the community, a lot of the loose ends of 1.6 were neatly tied up and the new additions add some great variation to the gameplay. The feature I'm most pleased about is the competitive play, which is incredibly fun and addictive, and I feel it was the missing piece in the previous versions - playing a 5 vs 5 "clan war" was hard to find and you were at the mercy of servers and owners. The matchmaking system makes sure you play against players the same skill group as you, and can almost always expect a game on the edge.
To everyone that was a diehard fan of 1.6: I think you will feel right at home in GO; it plays almost exactly the same, you just need a bit of time to adjust.
To everyone else! Start playing, it's great fun!

Very simple game. Easy to pick up and play casually, but fun and entertaining nontheless. Recommended if you have little spare time, as it's easy to get in and out of. Although simple, offers you more than enough to keep playing. Reminds me of simpler times :)
