Fix the game before asking for micro transaction.

Beside that, it's a fun game. You are playing as D&D 5e paladin, and you are join the Midnight Suns, an hidden clubhouse and community center where kids can form their own little clubs, play games and enjoy all kind of activities. You go fishing, play retro games, hiking.

It's like Stardew Valley.

There's also some optional card game side quest where you pretends to be superheros and fight a super Nazi warlock. For some reason the marketing focused on this aspect of the game, however the game itself will make sure you will remember that it is much more important to join Dr Spooky and his yoga class.

It's a good stand alone expansion. Overpriced for what it has to offer. Wait for discount.

Kind of boring. I feel like I am missing something. This game have a very impressive in depth simulation, but no interesting game loop to speak of. You mostly build factories and that's about it.

I think a big issue is not gameplay, but feedback. You get zero feedback of what is going on around you or what your actions leads to. Even if there is some hidden depth to the game, I don't know and can't know about it as the game go out of its way to be cryptic and non responsive.

Let's say I want to know what are the main export of my market, and what industries are booming. You will need to fiddle through menus inside menus to get this information. In a better design game, if your textile industry is the biggest in the world, you will know about it. A big tooltip will show up with confetti, a picture of crying children in a cotton mill and every other nation will tell you how sexy you are. In Victoria 3, you only get to know this from a small icon hidden in the construction menu.

It is very charming and well made. It is way more difficult then you assume from the visual style. For once a shop sim that tells you times are hard and actually means it. So far highly recommend it if you want something that can be wholesome one moment and then stress you over deadlines the next moment.

Also Roxanne mommies milkers.

First few missions were fun but too easy and I almost about to refund the game. Don't do it! Wait to the mid point when missions starts to swarm you with bugs, while you need to defend and attack on multiple fronts.

The game iteslf is very micro heavy, but it is not overwhelming like something more competetive. Instead, you control a small number of powerful units againts a huge army of bugs, and you need to position you unit properly. Your units are strong in range but even late game units will get shreded in meele, so you need to lure the bugs into kill zones and use the terrain to your advantage. And later in game, where the enemy throw at you so many units that the game start to lag, it's absolut joy to do so.

My main critic will be the AI. For a game that put so much emphesis on positioning, the pathfinding will have an hard time moving large armies or moving mechs. Often I see units stuck in moving animation when stationed on top of a wall, or a mech being stucked becuse infentry are on its way.

Other then that, if you need something to scratch you RTS campaign itch, this is a good choice.

You are here for the writing. Don't expect anything else. It's not even a proper RPG either, you got skill checks you can complete by switching between cloths and that's all of the game play.

You are here for the story. And the story is.....It's fine. It's trying and succeeding in sounding deep. But after you realize the theme and dig a bit about the writers you understand it's nothing but extremely shallow. The main theme is escapism. It is bad because capitalism is bad. I don't buy it. Especially not when playing this game, a piece of escapist media, on my expensive well earned escapist machine.

If all you care is the writing style, go ahead, it's actually really good. If you care about a good game or a decent story, this is not for you.

Early Access Review
Just amazing. Personaly, I'm not a fun of multiplyer survival games. This one on the other hand have a true sense of community. In PvE, you rarely encounter other players, but when you do it's always fun to stop whatever you are doing and help them to fight a boss. And becouse even big servers won't have more then a few players at a time, you get to encounter the same players over and over, creating a true sense of community.

I had yet to player PvP, but it's looks like they had put a lot of tought of allowing hostile actions but without them ruinig the fun. In many survival games, grifting is easy and there are no in game consequnces for doing it. In here, you can destroy walls and rob chests, but if you want to actually destory someone else base you had to craft a rather expensive item and use it on the key building of their base. This means that if you wish to grif and destroy someone else base its a true investment. Add to that that players can turn NPCs into powerful agents that will defend the base even if the player itself is not onlnie.

The fighting system is really in depth and fun, and this game have some really good bosses. At the end of the starting area, bosses become really strong, so while up to that point you can easily solo each boss, at this point you needs to form a party with other players.

In short, realyl awesome survival game with great combat that put a lot of thouhts on how to make the multiplyer really fun.

It's XCOM but instead of alien its cultist, zombies and demonic aliens. Right now its rather difficult, that is what you can expect from those kinds of games.

Right now I will say buy it with some serious discount. It is fun, but it feel rushed and unpolished in some areas.

Good:
* Enemy varaity seems to be good. I'm just starting, so right now I'm getting mostly poxwalkers and cultists, but even then they come with diffrent versions.
* Presentation. Feels like 40k
*The AI so far is acting smart. Nothing groundbreaking, but they put me often in hard situations that forced me to think, that is good.
* You can do much more then just shoot. Enemies have physics and will be throwned from explosive, and it is possible to throw an enemy to his death. The map is full of explosives, pillars you can push on enemies, sewer grates you can throw and so on. Its fun to get out if a tricky situation with the right granade throw.

The Bad:
*Bugs bugs bugs. This dose not feel finished.
* Voice acting. Some is decent (The tech priest is decent). Often time its boring or bad. There's this veteran knight that his VA sounds like he is about to fall asleep.
* The characters can look really goofy and ugly. I'm talking about the veteran.
* The story so far is underwhelming.
