An excellent bullet-heaven, roguelike where you have a certain randomness to each run, get as far as you can before you die and restart again. Each time, you are able to unlock progression through your achievements. The game looks great, plays great and the interactions between the powers, weapons, upgrades and ship types have been exemplary so far.

I can't wait to get back into the game to unlock-progress more!

A masterpiece. The amount of choice responsiveness that the game maintains is phenomenal. I usually have a habit of logically playing these games, thinking mechanically about my choices. But with BG3, I play it from an aesthetic RP'ing perspective.

Good stuff, all around.

I really love the stories that this game tells. My socialite psychic lost her lover and her child in the latest raid. Now she's being counselled by the colony's brute on how to deal with her loss. All the while, my alpaca farm is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all over the ground so much that my colonists had to spend all of my silver reserves on automated Roombas.

Play the game. Live their stories. See if you can survive. If you don't, it's almost a rogue-lite in that your next colony benefits from what you experienced and learned.

One of the most addicting roguelikes out there. Great concept with building your ship (body, weapon, shield) via mods. Smooth leveling system with rewards spaced out just enough to make you "go for just 1 more game". I need to stop playing... I haven't gotten up in 13 hours. :P

Virtually a masterpiece of a game! (and it's still in EA!?) From the glorious visual styling, to the buttery smooth animations and game play, there's nothing that I have yet seen that is not polished to high standards. The voice acting / lines / narrative alone is worth a playthrough! But if you are even remotely interested in roguelites, this is a phenomenal game. Each step of the way you feel progress. Deaths are understandable, too. I literally just played this game for ~10 hours straight! I need help...

I've been playing ToME for over 10 years. The game just keeps pulling me back into it through it's depth of mechanics, turn-based play-style and RNG elements that allow for some wonderful runs (or some heart-breaking ones). Awesome developer (the DarkGod, unhallowed be His name) who keeps things fresh by fixing, re-tooling and adding to his masterpiece, year-over-year.

Give this game a try if you enjoy a deep class- and skill-based roguelike! It has plenty to offer both the casual and hardcore out there.

Very nice rogue-like. Keeps you playing, learning each time you die. Careful management of resources and escalating combat makes the procedurally-generated world a blast to keep coming back to. There's a lot of combos to try out, from classes to weapons and skills. The pacing is good too. In the short time that I've played, I've already unlocked a couple of classes, a couple of skills and a pair of weapons.

If you are a fan of rogue-like strategies, you should seriously consider this one. It's got it's hooks in me this early... and to top it all off: there's Steam Workshop support!

A phenomenal open-world action game with strong story-telling elements and a superb combat system (very much like Arkham City). But the true beauty of the game comes in the faction / enemy system that gives you a feeling of progression, both rewarding and penalizing you for deaths. It's a simple system that is executed wonderfully! Top notch production here. I would definitely look forward to any DLC or sequel.
