When I picked up this game, I expected a simple unity asset flip, a useless cash grab intended to rob the poor and rich alike of a hard earned A$2.95. Nothing could have ever prepared me for the harsh realisation that I had just taken my hands away from the keyboard and stepped back from objectively one of the greatest masterpieces of our time. Elden Rine, Baldur's Gate 3, Helldivers II, and so many more masterpieces served as simply filler in the long wait for this piece of art to reach me, as if sent from the heavens by a new god. My first few hours spent in Skibidi Backrooms served as the perfect medium to set the scene. I immediately felt the convergence of the two fantasy worlds, namely dafuq!?boom!'s 'Skibidi Toilet' and Kane Pixels' 'The Backrooms', start to take a wider effect on the whole narrative as I first loaded into the lobby area. I remember it vividly, that night, my cold hands drumming on the desk, my eyes, bordering on closing due to lack of sleep, staring blankly at the loading screen. When that screen finally faded away however, I was greeted with a stunning sight. A sudden warmth, a joy, some would even call it enlightenment rushed through me, the yellow glare from my monitor reflecting back the finely contoured wall textures and the incredible ambient lighting native to the backrooms. One of the best things about Skibidi Backrooms is how it gets straight to the point, no fancy cutscenes, no useless dialogue, no. It doesn't need any of that. The simple depth, wonder, awe, provided by in-game atmosphere. As soon as you enter the main complex of the backrooms for the first time, you aren't greeted with any stupid popups, there no tutorials, and there is certainly no handholding. This is certainly a trend along the beginnings of many modern masterpieces, as seen especially in Dark Souls III. In Dark Souls III you are simply forced to beat Iudex Gundyr, there's just no way around it. In a similar way, in Skibidi Backrooms, you are simply forced to traverse the Skibidi Backrooms, with the skibidis chasing close behind. Notice how I don't imply that the Skibidist is actually found here. I believe this because the Skibidist is in multiple places stated to be a single entity, but in the first level there are very clearly multiple skibidis chasing you around. I also posit the idea that the Skibidi wall traps at the end of the level are in fact places there by the Skibidist, in an attempt to stop potential prey from leaving the backrooms. WIP

Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Lebron… honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you drive into the paint and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth touch around the rim, and that gorgeous jumpshot. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you retire. You had a rough childhood, but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing off the court, you're a great husband and father, sometimes I even call you dad. I forvever dread and weep, thinking of the day you will one day retire. I would sacrifice my own life it were the only thing that could put a smile on your beautiful face. You have given me so much joy, and heartbreak over the years. I remember when you first left clevenland and its like my heart got broken into a million pieces. But a tear still fell from my right eye when I watched you win your first ring in miami, because deep down, my glorious king deserved it. I just wanted you to return home. Then allas, you did, my sweet baby boy came home and I rejoiced. 2015 was a hard year for us baby, but in 2016 you made history happen. You came back from 3-1 and I couldn't believe it. I was crying, bawling even, and I heard my glorious king exclaim these words,
"CLEVELAND, THIS IS FOR YOU!" Not only have you changed the game of basketball and the world forever, but you've eternally changed my world. And now you're getting older, but still the goat, my goat. I love you pookie bear, my glorious king, Lebron James. 🥰❤️🫶🏽
