Let me start by saying this game was a very pleasant surprise. I'm gonna start by saying if you're looking to fap this isn't a game for that. Now that that's out of the way, this game has an extremely in-depth story with a few extra notes thrown in here and there to get more details. Heavy lovecraftian theme. This game is a great horror/mystery style game, with backtracking similar to (but not as bad as) Resident Evil.

Overall I would say I have maybe 5 hours of game-play in at this point and I think I may be getting close to the end, but never can really tell. The story has plenty of twists and turns, and it's worth watching the cut-scenes to help make sense of it all. Having to balance physical HP and what I can only call 'sanity' adds to the atmosphere.

When starting there is an option to play without all the nudity which is a nice touch IMO but I still wouldn't recommend playing this anywhere near children. I bought this on sale for a 10% discount and honestly I would say it was well worth it. The only downside I see so far is I feel like once I beat the game there won't be much replay value.

After putting a little bit of time into this game I can say that I'd recommend it. The story to this is decent enough, and if you read the news clippings present throughout the game it gives you a bit more of a backstory. The graphics are decent enough, the only complaint I have in that department is the speech doesn't really line up with the characters' lip movements. All in all, if you're a RE fan I think you'll enjoy this installment as well.

Please keep in mind that this game is still very much in development. I first heard of it off of the creator's TikTok account and had to give it a shot. At this point it's pretty much a base-building game but the base moves! Overall decent gameplay, and the enemy AI needs a little work. I would say that I can reccomend it not based off of what it currently is but what I see it becoming fairly quick.

There is a very basic story at the beginning which needs to be expanded upon, and some of the mechanics need to be fleshed out a little, but this is a game you can quickly lose hours in. If you have the extra cash, give it a shot!

After finally beating the game I can say that Doom eternal lives up to the Doom name. While it does seem like they made it a tad easier than previous installments, I had to up the difficulty by one level than what I'm used to. The story is great and they really expand upon what is going on.

I'm disappointed we did have more of the sword around, and how they added much more ammo and health in than necessary. The chainsaw magically refilling over time was a disappointment too. With my few complaints I still say that this is well worth it!
