it's a really fun and creative game and I loved it. The gameplay is slow however, the boy's jump distance is tiny and the blob's AI can get a little annoying; you're more often than not, forced to spam the call button until the boy whistles to turn the blob into a balloon, then you have to call again to get the blob out of balloon mode which is very long and pointless (although it does seem the AI is designed that way as proof from some of the puzzles).

Still, despite the flaws, this game does have a lot going for it too: it's a very creative 2D platformer that has a fairly simple direct storyline but also has hard challenges along side it for experienced players. You're also made to use a certain set of the blob's abilities per level which let's you think differently rather than just using the same three abilities.

It's obviously meant to be a children's game but it's still fun none the less. If you can get used to a few of the minor and irritating flaws then you will really enjoy this game.

It's not that good of a game; it's like they started off with an idea but it fell apart fast so now the story is like an hour long and there's a bunch of awfully similar minigames. The powers are outstanding but compared to Saints Row 4 they're insanely limited. The one good thing I can say about this game is the environment; it is just a reskinned Steelport but it looks remarkable and is pretty fun to travel and I suppose the ending is pretty badass despite little build up to it. Buy this game only if it's on offer and you want to grind more challenges and activities from Saints Row 4: this should have been DLC.

not bad; it was pretty short and sprinting is a pain until you actually buy upgrades for it (affordable like 5 minutes in) then the whole game is pretty badass. Shooting can be irritating since the aim moves slowly but there's a lot of AoE and homing weapons you get along the storyline. Only criticism is it's really short, but it is 99p and even goes on offer a lot.

This game was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. A lot of my friends said that the game was just a circle platform with the same enemies coming at you and to some extent they're right. But the combat as the protagonist is incredibly expansive and cool looking and the common enemies can prove to be a bit of a challenge, especially at higher difficulties. The bosses are my favourite part: they're amazingly done and can be defeated in a number of ways such as avoiding, defending, parrying or countering.

The story is pretty short (maybe half an hour?) but the combat felt so challnging and amazing that I just couldn't leave the game alone and ended up playing it over 20 hours. I'm thinking of coming back to it too. It's just a shame that there isn't a sequel to this game.

This transformed from an interesting Minecraft clone to an incredibly unique zombie survival game. Zombies are easy to kill in day time once you get the skill down but still take a few hits, making them terrifying when they come sprinting at you in hordes at night time. They've also implemented a terrifying endless wave of zombie hordes on the night of the 7th day making it crucial for you to find/make and reinforce a base in that time. There is also a massive arsenal of weapons and tools to select and also a diverse skill point system.

For an early access game this has a surprising lack of game breaking bugs too; the whole thing runs pretty smoothly.

Brilliant game. You can only jump, move, shoot and teleport, but these simple options are put to the test in an incredibly creative and well done manner requiring you to really think about some levels and time it to the second without being too challenging.

I don't believe this is the Gamecube version as the resolution is letterbox, but it's still as fun as ever and it's nice having a classic game like this on steam with achievements to strive for too. Amazing game with a hell of a lot of content. The protagonist is much more interesting than War from Darksiders 1 (which was pretty bad).

There's side quests and a lot of collectables to keep it entertaining and combat is actually pretty good, not the best but it's up there. There's also a lot of utilities and boss battles that are very intriguing and fun to use. The main quest is fairly interesting and the quality of the maps is incredible for the most part but the shadows are incredibly low detail.

However, at various times in my playthrough, I hit points where I couldn't interact with something to advance the storyline such as talking to someone or placing a lantern on a statue, reloading the game fixed this thankfully. Somewhere in the middle of the game I also lost the ability to run and could only move forward if I wiggled my analogue stick forward but I was able to run again around an hour later. Worst of all, the game would crash at very random points, such as using a revolver on the final boss or loading a new area, but the crashes were never consistent which made it even more confusing. There was also a point where the game would always crash after the cutscene where you talk to this angel which was very annoying, it seems the problem was leveling up after completing that quest so I needed to level up beforehand.

Darksiders 1 put me off the whole franchise but after being forced to play this game thanks to my friend, I'm well and truly back into it. Let's just hope Darksiders 3 is A LOT less buggy.

Incredible game. Reminds me of Legend of Zelda. The story is really cute; you're a lonely child in a town with no other children who eventually discovers a monster who you save from a dog. The monster invites you to their village and you make a ton of new friends! Unfortunately their village gets attacked and you must help them rebuild and rescue their friends.

The combat style is really nice too with interesting bosses and enemies. There's quite a few puzzles which aren't very challenging if you just want to complete the story. There are some real challenges if you plan on going for a fully completed game but none of them are too grindy.

The game runs very smoothly and is practically bug free. The ONLY bug I encountered is that some passwords you have to type are case sensitive and the CAPS lock button doesn't work.

This is such a good beat'em up game with a very nice story. It's very challenging, especially if you don't utilise other parts of combat such as using counters and powered up moves. You can alter combat to your satisfaction with talismans (have passive effects) and using different elements.

The only major flaw is starting up the game: it takes like 30 seconds telling you who made the game like Criware and Nickelodeon and it kind of makes you resent them in some way and kind of ruins the game if you start and stop playing it a lot (can't be skipped with -nostartupmovies).
