Best JRPG I've played in well over a decade. Ichiban Kasuga is a loveable protagonist who pulls off hardened action hero and hapless goofball equally well. He journeys through a story with heart and an engaging plot meeting a cast of believable and interesting characters that doesn't make you want to hit the Skip button. Gameplay is typical turn based JRPG fare, but doesn't require excessive grinding. It also offers countless minigames to break any monotony you might feel, and will be a completionist's dream. Excited to dig into the sequel and spend more time in this detailed and vibrant world.

Despite its ridiculously unappealing title, this game is an engaging and entertaining journey through the many possible paths of Sir Brante. While freedom is often limited by the world itself, the restrictions on your choices lead to tough decisions that create a compelling and satisfying tale. I have completed two playthroughs, both wildly different, and know that there is one more path through that will give me an almost entirely new experience. Curiosity may compel me to check out unexplored possibilities in well trodden paths, siding with factions I previously opposed. Well worth my time, and quite different from most of my gaming fare.

Very well designed game with a ridiculously fragile protagonist. Not very long, but doesn't waste your time either. I beat the entirety of the game in under 2 hours, and still consider it a bargain at full price.
Fundamentally it's a puzzle platformer, but feels more like a metroidvania despite a complete lack of gear gating and combat. This creates what is the game's greatest strength, where it focuses on its minimal mechanics to maximize the fun and puzzles available in its design space. By the end, you're in awe at the planning that went into making this short and sweet masterpiece.

absolutely outstanding. beaten 3 times, did the deep secrets. just a delightful atmospheric metroidvania reminiscent of fez, but with more focus on fun gameplay. if you're looking for combat stay away, but if exploration, platforming and puzzles are your vibe then you can hardly do better

Punishing and not for the easily frustrated, but a superb entry in the greatest platforming roguelike series of all time. You will die hundreds and hundreds of times, but when you develop the skills to win it feels so rewarding.

If you can possibly organize 10 people (crossplatform with iOS and Android, too!) that you know and like, this can provide some of the most entertaining gaming experiences ever. If you have to play text chat in public games it's probably awful. But if you can find an voice channel to play this game in, it is non-stop intrigue and hilarity.

Pinball Metroidvania with a dung beetle protagonist. So weird and different. If you've been entertained by digital pinball in any form this should be a good way to spend a few gaming sessions exploring this Island as it's new postmaster.

Similar in play to Magic: The Gathering, with the slickness of Hearthstone. A generous free-to-play model lets you compete without paying a cent, enough to keep up even with their regular content updates. My personal favorite digital collectible card game by a mile, Dire Wolf Digital continues to impress me with the thought and work they put in day after day to keep this a fresh and pleasurable experience.. 10/10

Early Access Review
Fast paced, with a unique concept and a lot of fun. Only played single player vs bots, and it's great, should only get better with friends to play with.
