I've been a longtime platformer fan- they were the first games I ever played when I was young and I've kept up my love for them since. That being said, Pizza Tower is one of the best platformers I have ever played. Nothing in this game is unfair or unsatisfying and nothing is out of place. The art style is incredibly expressive and fun to look at, it really feels like you're playing a 90s cartoon and there are an unholy amount of sprites for every situation. The gameplay is so energetic and gratifying, whether you're starting out and just trying to beat the levels, to getting P(erfect) ranks by never dropping a combo, to speedrunning the game, there is always something to improve on in pizza tower. This is helped by the masterfully designed levels that have absolutely no fat on them (unless you count the calories of the enemies you're smashing through)! Each level has unique gimmicks that get built upon until the next level, which matches the fast pace of the game. I suppose the only flaw I can find in this game (other than it not lasting forever) is its so fast paced and wacky that some people just might not be able to keep up, but there's no punishment for taking the levels slow besides Pizza Time. I love the lightning quick action this game provides! Also, the soundtrack has no right being as good as it is but every song is a banger. Basically, everything about this game rules and you'll be left wanting seconds once you're done.

anyone who says this expansion is bad because of the difficulty is a goober and should be disregarded
this is the best isaac dlc by far (there's an absurd amount of content) and it is the most fun i've had in isaac since rebirth released.

I absolutely love bit trip flux. absolutely one of the best games in the series, with beautiful music, simple gameplay and really brings everything full circle.

However, the steam port is broken. You literally cannot beat the first boss with certain settings. unlucky
