I love this game!
Most of the time I played it with a friend together but there is the Qickplay Game Mode so you can play alone too.
The graphics are great for an Early Access Game for this price (only the textures are sometimes to slow and I see them how they get loaded) but thats not a big minus.
I recommend this game if you want to play it with a friend then you have much more fun than solo.
If you only want to play solo at the moment now I think this game is not the best choice for you but the
devs are going on and will add some more features to it...

AND THE BIGGEST PLUS: Only adults community, I swar in 50hours of gaming I didn't meet one screaming child :)
