WT is getting review bombed right now and for absolutely good reason.

I'm not in the loop of the exact changes that Gaijin wants to implement but my 2 cents is that:
1) Gaijin has for YEARS been absolutely cold-bloodedly prepared to make absolutely draconian and greedy changes to the game.
2) They have completely lost vision of enjoyable gameplay loops and made it harder each year to have fun as a free-to-play player.

They deserve all of this ♥♥♥♥, do not give them an inch more.

What do you get when you mix one of the best shooters of the 2010s, Insurgency, with one of the most popular shooter settings in WWII?

You get Day of Infamy, a wonderful combination of the hardcore-arcade shooter Insurgency and the almost nostalgic WWII theme seen in the early Call of Duty games. It differs in very many ways to both Battallion 44 and the early Call of Duties, especially in having more complex teamplay with many roles and support abilities, but it's a satisfying and simple not-quite-a-mod-but-still-a-mod to Insurgency.

Even with the controversies that have surrounded and still surround this game, to this day it seems like Rockstar can do no wrong maintaining the lifetime of this game. Albeit a lot of the credit for reviving GTA Online as of recent goes to the roleplay community, R* still released a massive casino update that to me upon a quick look actually looks pretty decent and fleshed out, so kudos to them.

Issues still plague the game, like cheaters and the horrible grind of fetch missions for small amounts of money that are virtually irrelevant when compared to the massive costs of the majority of things that money can buy.

Regardless, it's basically a classic at this point and I still foresee a very long lifetime for this game, I mean, San Andreas is still a populated game in its multiplayer to this day.

I would wait for a sale on this though, it goes for very cheap in recent times.

Skyrim continues to amaze me, moreso now with the Special Edition than ever before. Especially because the upgrades made to the game make it and modding it more stable, a large issue with the original iteration, albeit a problem solveable with enough effort.

It still has depth even after my umpteenth playthrough, and I dare not start the DLCs for I feel like I might overwhelm myself with quests, mostly because my quest log is filled with "investigate X Dwemer ruin", which I still consider a weakness of this game, although that's very subjective. On this topic, I feel the greatest weakness(es) of Skyrim is/are the questlines. They lack pacing and the feeling of hard work, which made me turn to Oblivion so I can experience the older style questing of that game.

A good leveling system with plenty of gear variety (although I feel like Skyrim showed hints to the unique weapon problem that appeared in FO4) allows for multiple types of playthroughs, characters and mod setups.

Once again the greatest strength of a Bethesda game is the modability, which in this case expands the already infinite possibilites beyond belief, for example playing a shouts-only nord bard with the Ordinator perks mod.

A good platform for NWI to continue the greatness of the previous Insurgency title.

Currently quickly and well updated, often adding tons of new content in one update per just 1-2 months, will soon beat out the old title.

A true test of patience and creativity.
Simply starting a city build is easy enough and feels good, but actually making something of it requires time and thought. I often find myself scrapping a city because for me, it's unsatisfactory.

It's a fruit of your labour sort of deal - the more effort you put in, the more fun you have and enjoy seeing it in action. Naturally this sort of game requires a fair deal of know-how and premonitory skills to know which areas should be left empty for pre-planned structures or districts.

All-in-all though, a well maintained, well built game with great mod support, making it a perfect game for a certain kind of mood.

An incredible game for offering a complexity beyond complex yet still keeping it simple and satisfying to play, with the massive possible combinations of hero and item interactions, aswell as the ability to still outplay better drafted teams with pure brainpower, this game is basically a sandbox.

Plagued by one of the worst gaming communities known to man but the suffering is sometimes worth it.
