I've played this game for hours and is probably my most favorite game last year and it was my first game I ever purchased on steam!

Very fun game and a good snow boarding and skiing simulator!

I purchased this game and all the dlc's during the christmas sale and honestly I had second thoughts. I wanted to refund it because I didn't find the game fun until I found a couple servers and mods that made the game a lot more enjoyable, such as Altis Life. I recently have been playing it a lot more and cannot wait to reach 100 hours. I reccommend the game to anyone but the only down side to this game is that it very unoptimized and it takes a decently good pc to run it. Thanks and I hope my review helped.

When it comes to the thought of recommending this game to people, I simply say YES! I know this game has a lot of mixed reviews and that is because it takes a lot of time and patience! This game does require "skill" and it will not come overnight. In my honest opinion, to learn and be successful in this game you have to learn the basics on solo/duo/trio servers. Build up your knowledge on the map and make sure you find the sweet spot for your settings. Once you've found those, find friends to play with. Rust is not a solo friendly game by any means. I recommend groups of 3 to 5 people depending on if you choose to play vanilla or modded. From there you can progress as a team and build your skills; crafting, farming, building, scrapping, combat, etc. I also recommend watching tutorials and Rust walk-through videos! They will help you understand the concepts and basics of the game, especially with what certain items do and what parts of the map are beneficial to your experience. Finally, look on Reddit or the server browsers for high populated servers and join their community discord. Then from there you can meet with other members and maybe play with them. I want to end with this, one thing to keep in mind while playing this game is that YOU CANNOT TRUST ANYONE! As much as people may seem friendly, you will come to see that people are toxic and greedy. Random players who ask to play will inside and take advantage of you. So my best advice is to only play with close friends and never open your doors to strangers. Other than that I hope you enjoy your Rust experience! It truly is a great and fun game to grind.

I recently deleted my original review that I made of this game. First of all I love this game but do not recommend the game for experienced Call of Duty players. Although not much is needed to say but that it is an amazing game. Although it is not a Call of Duty game and not that easy. It takes a while to learn the game and how to adjust to the competitiveness of this game. A lot of people take this game very seriously and don't like when people fool around. I reccommend this game to anyone who enjoyed the original Counter Strike and previous Counter Strike games. First of all the game is a really reasonable price and is one of the most played games in the world, especially in the United States. This game is also a pretty realistic first person shooter. If you are new to the Counter Strike series and play Call of Duty I recommend you find a youtube video that will teach you the basics of the game, such as learning recoil patterns of guns and learning not to spray at an enemy or run while firing a weapon. It might take awhile for you to learn how to play the game well and maybe reach a decent competitive rank. Also please don't waste your money on skins/knives, just enjoy the game. MOST IMPORTANT RULE, Do not use any kind of hacked client or client side mod or cheat so you play better, also don't leave a cheat engine open/running for another game while your playing CS:GO, Valve might not recognize the software and you could get a Permanent Ban or VAC Ban and you won't be able to play the game. If you get VAC banned with items that costs money in your inventory, you can NOT sell or trade them. The items will be locked in your inventory forever.
