We waited so long and now its released. Rejoice steam bros.

Depending on your play style, the game can be really relaxing or just challenging and grindy. If you are new and planning to try out this game, let me break it down to you the core fundamentals of this game.

The main currency of this game is candles, white candles where you can earn by collecting wax by travelling the realms in the game. Either by burning darkness (dark bluish flowers), lighting up candles or completing races. There's other currency such as Hearts (from spirits or friends) , Seasonal Candles (from seasonal daily mission) and Tickets (From events.

The main objective of this game is to Collect Candles and Exchange the Candles for Cosmetics . There's past events where you can complete and enjoy the story, which sometimes is tedious and sometimes beautiful. There's story (not gonna spoil) but the dialogue is very lacking. It's beautiful and abstract. Another main objective from this game is to find friends and you can pretty much do it easily and the community is very friendly, be respectful to others and its very fun!

I've been playing since the release of the demo in Steam and I have to say there's a lot of bugs in the game where things just doesn't work. The most prominent dissatisfaction is the fact that there's server split, like I would get separated from my friends and sometimes it just fails quests that requires many players to actually do (For example the Treehouse questline) its very frustrating and we just gave up doing it altogether.

It's a free game and it has to sustain itself somehow, I get it and I'm all in on that but sometimes it's just too expensive for some items. It's purely cosmetics I understand but sometimes it just too expensive.

Its a very fun game to enjoy with friends, it can be grindy if you grind for the candles and want to get all the possible amount of candles per day, which is 20, technically you can go above 20 but its not recommended for your own sanity. It's a social game that has events, seasons and cosmetics so its an enjoyable game despite it's flaws.

They're masterworks all, you can't go wrong all the way can it?.

Microtransaction
For those who mentioned about the micro-transaction issue, Art of Metamorphosis is a one time change for the appearance of your character. There will probably be a Secret of Metamorphosis that you can exchange by using Rift Crystal which is also offered as a micro-transaction, but you can earn Rift Crystals by having people rent your pawn. The only micro-transaction that can't be earned in-game is the original soundtrack.

Performance issues
It happened for MHW, the lack of optimization and very bad launch but the devs eventually fixed it and it became one of their best selling game and beloved by the community. Tbh, DDDA also had their issues with the network and etc when its released in Steam. Hence, I'm sure that Capcom will take into account of this situation and give us an explanation and solution to the problems.

Denuvo and etc
Well, I can't vouch for them regarding this. Yeah prevent piracy and all that, but it's bad.

Anyways, for the vets we have been waiting for so long, in time it will be all better. For people who never tried DDDA and got this but face many issues, have faith in Capcom. They are an amazing developer and they will fix it!

One of the best customization game ever. Wish there are more hairstyles, more selection of colour (a colour wheel would be awesome), otherwise it is a great way to spend time fantasizing about the adventures that will be coming on the 22th March 2024 that we will be spending with our ready made character and pawns.

The community has two sides. Hideous creation beyond comprehension and out of the world looking beautiful Arisens and Pawns. Y'all amaze and disgust me, but I'm proud to see how happily everyone is looking forward to the game!

Man would literally make a whole game about Vtubers with great gameplay, amazing mini games, unique enemies, addictive gameplay loop, gacha AND costumes, detailed mechanics, a great game with literally no bugs and make it FREE than going to therapy. I love you devs. Keep doing what you love, maybe get the vtubers to voice the game. 10/10, GoTY.

As a Gundam fan, I'mma pretend this doesn't exist. Unplayable with the disconnects and maintainence

I keep helping the old grandma to find her undies and now I question my choices in life. The game has way too much endings, I would prefer the game to lessen the endings to maybe 3 major endings then have many small sub story endings (sub story lines), to expand the story telling experience. Overall it's a so-so game. Infinite replay value as the game is solely aiming for replay value, but generally feels shallow and hollow.
