Excellent game and works great on the steam deck

This continues on the story from Jedi Fallen Order and is has been done brilliantly.

Yes the performance is iffy on PC as others have noticed but if you just take in the game for what it is and you enjoyed the first then you will love this one.

Positives
- great level design
- great puzzle platform mechanics

Negatives
- some parts were confusing and frustrating with no apparent way forward
- text on the deck fore the lore was hard to read
- not a lot of lore/ story, could do with cutscenes etc similar to say celeste

Overall
i would reccommend this game if you enjoy puzzle platform games as its fantastic

Overall this is a decent little platform puzzle game and well worth the money. It is a game you can play solo if you wish but is probably better playing with someone.

Positives
- Lovely level design and art
- Even though there are only really 2 main mechanics, the level and puzzle design uses these well to not make it stale
- Game is short by normal standards (4 hours ish) but the pacing was good
- Boss mechanics varied to keep things interesting

Negatives
- no real story building meaning i did not feel a strong bond with the characters
- more enemy variety could have improved things
- some parts playing solo were a little frustrating

If you like platformers and hollow like games you will enjoy this.

if you dont like platform mechanics though i would avoid.

Positives:
- great story carrying on from 2033
- more and different weapons compared to 2033
- runs well on steam deck and looks really good

Negatives:
- I encountered a couple of crashes and a couple of bugs such as enemies not attacking
- The "karma system" should in my opinion be made more apparent, it felt more apparent and easier to get the different endings in 2033 compared to this game
- enemy AI a little simple, felt quite easy to just shoot my way through many parts rather than using stealth

Summary:
If you enjoyed 2033 you will enjoy this game for sure, it's a great improvement and follow on from that game. Well worth a play through as it seems games like these (single player immersive story games) seem to becoming rarer

Great game play and story

Positives:
- Works well on the steam deck
- Good story
- Easy to get immersed into the game

Negatives
- Cloud saves do not work across steam deck and PC. I ended up just finishing the game on the deck because of this
- The end of the story is quite confusing where you pass out and go round in some sort of maze. I assume this is where you get to choose to side with the rangers or the dark ones but not 100% sure
- Near the end of the game going to the military base I had to reload one time because the rangers I was with did not progress after killing a lot of monsters

Overall I would recommend this game, it is a great action/survival horror to get into

Great game however felt the final boss was too difficult for my skill level. changed to story mode and it was fine
