Early Access Review
EAC is not the answer, pushing out the modding community is not the answer, alienating your playerbase is not the answer, the devs don't listen and don't care about what the players want, oh, and don't forget that the quality of life content they want to add already existed as mods, those creators aren't getting any credit for anything

I quite like having a sound reactive live wallpaper on my desktop, however, there are a few issues I've found and one thing I just straight up dislike, the issues are
-Floor Width resets to the absolute lowest amount every time I start the wallpaper, causing it to be a rather thin strip in the middle of my center monitor
-Any custom text is put... somewhere on startup, it's nowhere to be seen and I have to reset position and drag it to where I want it
-I use an audio over LAN setup for some music (specifically for streaming) and there's no way to get the wallpaper to react to that (not really the apps fault, but any sort of help in sorting this out would be appreciated)

as for what I dislike, it's purely that there's no option to remove the depression effect around wherever my mouse is placed.

Otherwise though, it's a really nice live wallpaper, a decent amount of options, decent amount of color choices, responds to sounds (though can be slightly hard to tell HOW it's responding), there's customization options for how things react and I've managed to get it to work quite nicely, aside from the issues stated above, would recommend it IF you don't mind having to set some options every time it starts

Incredibly fun game, plenty of levels (that I unfortunately haven't gotten around to unlocking yet), with more on the way, controls can be a little bit tough to adapt to, which is just due to the type of game it is, I personally got rather hooked on the time trial mode and competing with a friend of mine, would definitely recommend picking this up

This game was exactly what I was hoping for from Koji Igarashi, it's like taking Symphony of the Night, giving it a fresh coat of paint and expanding on existing Castlevania systems

Honestly, AB+ adds a bunch of new stuff that I enjoy, unfortunately, it adds a bunch of stuff that makes the game far less fun as well, infinite spawning enemy portals, and bosses that are just damage sponges (Big Horn is quite possibly the worst offender for this) that also appear on early floors (Try fighting Big Horn first or second floor), I love having new items and gameplay modes, however, artificially increasing the difficulty by forcing bosses to take 10x as long as they should just isn't a good idea, overall, I'd say get Afterbirth, but steer clear of Afterbirth + unless things get fixed
