The Good:
-fun co-op.
-voice acting, dialouge, writing, and character development are all there. this isn't exactly a master class but the basics of a functional story do exist here (it's insane that I even have to qualify this nowadays)
-you can have sex with every main character. even the robot.
-simple but engaging story.
-simple but undeniably fun gameplay. they took what made SR3 fun and added superpowers.
-Beautiful game on ultra settings.
-soundtrack is great, as always.

The Bad:
-if you bought SR3 you're basically buying an expansion
-way too much misplaced internet humor
-side missions are repetitive and boring.

Conclusion:
A fun game to play occasionally, especially in co-op. Get it if its your only saints row game. if you played SR3, skip it. you arent missing much.

With a thriving community and dedicated server owners this game will live on for a long time.
The game is many games in one, with hundreds of different gamemodes to choose from in multiplayer.
Very low amount of hackers/cheaters, and dedicated servers means most undesirable players are kept away.
Graphics are noticably dated, and some gamemodes are losing support slowly.

Buy this game. You'll have fun, guaranteed.

A game with satisfying gameplay that suffers from an extremely linear stage.
The stealth mechanics and sniper gameplay are absolutely solid and very rewarding, with X-Ray kills, slo-mo cinematics, and amazing set pieces of chaos. Challenges progress in difficulty and are always rewarding, but the game leaves a lot to be desired in terms of how that challenge is solved. Often the game is very very linear. While during your first playthrough this may not be bothersome or even noticeable, the replay value is diminished and the amount of creativity and reward goes down as challenges become more familiar.

Overall Sniper Elite V2 is a solid game with a beautifully streamlined stealth and sniping mechanic, but could improve in areas that Rebellion plans to improve upon in Sniper Elite 3. If this game is still free when you read this, it is definitely worth your time.

Amazing writing and voice work.
Game is beautiful and very well optimized for most systems.

Compared to forged alliance this game is trash. Just go buy the first 2 originals.
