While I do recommend playing this game, I have quite a few complaints about it aswell.

While this game has a very enjoyable survival / exploration mechanic throughout, the world and the writing within it feels very shallow and boring. There are a handful of quests actually worth doing, and the settlements are pretty enjoyable. Without even comparing this game to previous titles with much better writing, this game still falls flat in terms of characters and quests. On its own, the base mechanics and improved gunplay are where this game shines.

Overall, if you can catch this game for cheap, its a pretty fun experience as a survival game, but thats about it.

Sparks of brilliance throughout the multiplayer make me think this game could have been a lot more, but stale voice acting, horrible writing and a boring plot makes this game not worth getting at full price.

If you manage to grab it on a good sale, the multiplayer is definitely worth a shot. Quite a bit more depth than your average COD game without being oversaturated. The powerup system is a nice addon without being too gamechanging, and the weapons are actually pretty well balanced.

Locked at 30 fps, game feels choppy and gross.
None of the fun customization is present from the first game, its all dumbed down or removed entirely.
Combat is basically quicktime events, spamming lightsaber combos, and the game telling you what button to press to win.
The campaign is only 4 hours long. The entire thing felt absurdly rushed.
Force throw and just force powers in general are completely broken, the aiming system for force throw was made for consoles and is absurdly cumbersome on PC.

Only good part is the story. If this series of games was an animated TV series, I'd be hooked 100%.
If they took the first game, improved graphics, added the force power improvements, and deepened the plot, this game would be fantastic, just like the original. How they screwed it up this bad is a mystery beyond my power to solve.

Amazing game.
It looks beautiful and carries a powerful message that not many games can.

Should've taken a page out of Valve's book, do NOT ♥♥♥♥ with mods.

Overview: A simcity killer that does everything right, plain and simple.

Pros:
-Beautifully simple and easy to learn interface. Took me about 5 minutes to figure out where everything was.
-The "chirp" system of notifications is a really good way of bringing a realistic form of alerts into the game.
-Tutorial is very helpful but not in the way if you already know what to do.
-Map editor, asset editor, editor editor...
-Endless community assets, mods, and addons
-Beautiful looking and not hard to run on modern laptops.
-There is an immense amount of depth to the game and it is simplified just enough to make it so youre always doing something, but youre never confused. It is always clear what you need to do, how to do it, and why.
-You can rename anything and anyone, to anything you want.

Cons:
-A couple of bugs (that already have community fixes)
-Roads can be a bit frustrating at time. However, updates are already rolling out concerning updating / downgrading them.
-Intersections and redoing roadways when it becomes a high traffic area basically destroys any local economy based on those roadways. Wish there was a more efficent way of upgrading intersections themselves, rather than just having them prebuilt.

Final verdict:
If you've been looking for a city simulator that is fun, but simcity just didnt do it for you, then this game is for you.
9/10

This game is undeniably great. There's a laundry list of things to complain about, but the reality is that Skyrim is one of the most immersive game worlds you can find yourself in with one of the most robust modding scenes in gaming. With the introduction of mod packs for this game, it's easier than ever to "remaster" it for yourself, the way you want it. If you want this game to play like Dark Souls, you absolutely can do that.

Simply put, there's a reason this is one of the most popular games in history. Despite it's faults, this is a beloved game and what I'd consider to be the last hurrah from a once beloved games company.

The good:

-Cool cutscenes.
-you can climb trees.

The Bad:
-A still broken combat system.
-A shoddy PC port with extremely awful optimization
-A bland story that lacks personality
-Extremely broken stealth mechanics. Eavesdrop makes me pull my hair out.
-Very cumbersome controls without a controller.

THE GOOD:
-Great visuals. They did a fantastic job of bringing COD out of last-gen.
-Multiplayer has a plethora of gamemodes and endless customization, matched with well balanced gameplay and some exo abilities to spice things up.
-Pick 10 (er.. 13?) is back.
-The voice acting for everyone but Ilona was superb. Kevin Spacey delivers a rock solid performance.
-Runs great on dated hardware. I play with my friends who have athlon 750k and an r7 265. They play on medium with smooth FPS. Much better of a PC port than COD:Blowsts

THE BAD:
-The game is horribly optimized for multi-GPU systems. Unplayable.
-Singleplayer is much longer than most COD games and STILL FEELS RUSHED. Characters are killed off without being developed and you feel nothing. The game forces feelings on you rather than creating a connection with the player. A huge misstep on Sledgehammer's part. The plot often feels rushed and things happen at an unbelievably fast pace.
-The plot is probably on par with something you'd watch on netflix that only got 3 stars and you've never head of before. It's good, but you're not gonna remember it in a month.
-Game is gigantic. Whats with all these huge downloads nowadays? I'll be deleting this as soon as I get bored with it.

CONCLUSION:

A solid entry in the COD series, but still probably not worth buying unless you catch it on sale. I'd recommend this game if you want to ask for it as a gift or if you want to get it on some really nice sale, or maybe even used at GameStop for like 10 bucks. COD is turning into a game that is almost never worth the money.

VERDICT:
THUMBS UP... JUST DONT PAY FULL PRICE

Competitive shooter players who have been waiting for CS to modernize itself - this is it, and it's pretty damn good.
