Great game! Addicting mix of Stardew Valley, Overcooked & Subnautica. Well animated and hilarious cut-scenes, too.

It's more than just a walking simulator, though there can be a fair amount of walking, it's not boring. There's a lot to explore and encounter wherever you go. There's a ton of weird quirky mechanics and references but it does not make the game feel like a joke.

Early Access Review
This game is really fun. It captures the world of toys very well, there's a lot humour put into all of the objects.

It's exactly Euro Truck Simulator, but more familiar. Developers listen to the community and push out frequent updates..

It's not a huge overhaul in visuals, but it looks great and plays like the original with some general improvements. This is a remaster, not a remake; expect original game engine bugs to resurface.

So back when this was first released, it ended up being a big disappointment. Long story short, the only thing it had going for itself was the visuals; I received a refund from Steam. But now, the latest "re-release" with a ton of work done to it, I'm glad to have re-purchased Slain. The combat, audio, and visuals all compliment each other now. It's not an easy game though, be warned, or be slained

It's unfortunate how it launched, which earned them some poor ratings that are sticking around. But you are completely safe buying Slain now. They've redeemed themselves.

It crashes when you look at it. It crashes when people try to view your Steam broadcast of it. It crashes, randomly. Missing several lighting effects that are present on console versions. But hey, there's a Batmobile.

It's ok, feels like it should be a free mod though. It's only like $10, but you should still wait for a $2 sale.

This game is good. It only took me about 5 hours with a little exploring because of curiosity (which there isn't really much of to explore, just journal entries and guts all over the place). Even though it had zero combat elements, it kept me immersed through it all. Most of the scary scenes are run and hide while shutting the doors behind you puzzles, which became a little tedious. There are two suprises at the end which you will enjoy. I'd recommend this game at around the $11 mark.
