Note for Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing players: you're expected to recognize some people by their voices and accents, but that info isn't included in the subtitles. I got around it by using a spoiler-free hints/tips guide, but it's something I would have liked to know ahead of time.
I also had to google the meanings of some words that weren't in the glossary.

That said, this game was incredible. The writing is very good, the graphics couldn't be better, the story is the kind that you remember for a long time after playing. The mysteries were very hard, but they didn't feel impossible. (Except for the people you are supposed to identify by their shoes. Those could have had more clues attached.)
Although the story is full of death, all the characters feel incredibly human. You become invested in solving the mysteries as though they were real people.

Not everything is explained in the ending, but they are all questions that the player character wouldn't know the answer to. It's still very satisfying to find out the last few fates and close the case successfully.

I wish there were sequels with the inspector player character and the same mechanics, if they were half as good as this game they'd be worth the money to buy!

My only complaint is that the game won't let me retire to Wrack >:( but everything about this game is fantastic. And trans friendly!
It's slow to start out, which is mildly annoying, but I feel that the depth of lore and storyline is worth it.

This is officially the best game I have ever played. Also, made me sob like a baby. I have no shame about this, Niko and Niko's happiness are worth all the tears.
100/10, do recommend.
Despite the pressure the game puts on you it's okay to make some mistakes. Try not to give in to the temptation to use a walkthrough or look up spoilers!!

Hard as hell. Nobody tells you that you can wall jump, you gotta figure out the more fun mechanics for yourself.
Fortunately, it's amusing as hell also.
10/10 would be chased by dragons again.

This is pretty good for when you're already having a bad day and you just want an outlet that doesn't involve punching holes in walls. Curse out this game, the gamemaker, and all his collective ancestors instead- nobody will say they don't deserve it!
