Basically Age of Mythology with modern quality of life features and AOE4 graphics.

Ignore all the negative cry babies with their misguided outrage.

1. Micro transactions are there and they are just like any other new JRPG. They are not pay to win. You can literally get all the items in the game by playing it. Maybe pay to not play the game but that's about it.

2. Game runs just fine. I have a 4070 and 7800X3D. Can get 100FPS in 1440p which is on par with other new AAA titles. No frame rate drops.

3. The single save file and character creation is exactly like the first one so I don't know what these people expected. This is not Final Fantasy. The game autosaves so you can't save scum if I had to guess.

Bottom line if you liked the first one you won't be disappointed.

Buggy, unfinished, early access. Only buy if you want to beta test until they fix all the issues.

Not to even mention the questionable low effort micro transactions. It's like they wasted half a year not fixing anything except the customization store.
