This is an absolutely gorgeous game if your computer can handle it on maximum. The storyline is very progressive and the mechanics of the game are easy to pick up as you go along. Yes it's black and white but damn is it gorgeous and the sounds are really well done too.

The UI is rather simple but not over cluttered with information like most games. It's well worth the money for this game.

This is one of the few games that can keep you excited about playing through it and frustrated at the same time. I felt this sequel was a bit monotous though when it came to boss fights compared to the first one. Most of the bosses can be killed with melee only and all the mechanics to kill them are quite the same.

Also it's not completely open world at first, especially when compared to the first game. It requires you to unlock certain things before being able to access areas.

Once you hit the later stages of the game you have a lot more freedom to do what you want so if you are stuck on one boss you can go to another area of the game and clear that.

This game is pretty addictive. If you are a storyline person, hack and slash person, or love anything related to RPG's this is a great game. Although the skill trees are fairly traditional, they do allow you to mix and match skills from different trees which can add some flavor to your builds.

I didn't find the progression all that difficult either and is much more skill based than anything else. There is always something to do when it comes to questing or crafting. The loot tables aren't overly big when it comes to monster drops and the gear ratios seem a bit off to me but they do scale as you level up which is a little different than most RPG's.

One of my favorite video games of all time. I played this on the original playstation when it first came out and still hasn't lost it's flavor. If Square Enix decided to remake this with better graphics I would buy that version too. This is an absolute classic in the Final Fantasy series and one of the more bround greaking games of it's time. If you like turn-based RPG's and semi-open world exploration this is definitely the game for you!

I prefer the more traditional JRPG type games and wasn't expecting this type of RPG at all. It was fun for about the first 30 minutes but gets repetitive and boring. The storyline didn't really capture my attention. If you expect the traditional battle style like in most JRPG (turn based) then this is definitely not the game for you.

I actually found this game to be kind of addicting. I enjoy it a lot more than most minecraft-esque games. It has a lot less complexity of minecraft and is only 2D. There are some odd mechanics you have to learn about the night zombies and other creatures but once you figure out how they behave farming is no problem. The bosses in the game are extremly hard so fight them at your own risk!

This was a fun game. If you love interactive puzzle/problem solving type games this is a great game. It involves a mix of the portal series without the plot line and it is one continuous puzzle. It was definitely entertaining.

There are still a ton of bugs in this game. When we finally got it to work it was fun but the networking issues on it are horrendous and is pretty much only fun in co-op mode.
