After playing this game like an addict for more than 100 hours, I can confidently say that it is one of the best video games I've ever played, and probably ever made. A masterpiece and an instant classic no doubt.

This is a good game. Weapon designs, immersion, gunplay and optimisation are really good. Plus war stories are also intriguing.
Don't let the negativity from other comments get to you. It still has a very active player base years after release.

Can't put the game down

Good game. Truly next gen, fun driving, good world, and a lot to do. The best arcade racing video game probably.

really good game reminds me of older games that were just for pure fun

This game is really good. Very well-made and so fun. Back when developers cared about getting a good game out.

The base game is really fun and well designed. But there are many issues with HUD, audio and graphics, hundreds of features missing. And the first big update is an in-game shop. They did not work these well, for this price especially. The game was clearly released unfinished. It feels like an early alpha build. I'd say buy at 80% sale or not at all. That's all to it. At best 6/10

It's Fun, worth it

The new Freelancer mode is so much fun, and what the original game should have been. It is definitely worth playing
