Installed because it seemed interesting with highly positive reviews. I accidentally tanked my colony an hour in, restarted, and two hours in and there was nothing else to really do. The story is boring; having to listen to the butt-pic event chain twice was grating; there is no real challenge, build, work out what you need next, build some more, and so on.

I'm all for a solarpunk future, but this is both a far too polished a vision of that future and a complete misunderstanding of what such a future would bring. By the time we have the tech to spray buildings together, I hope we don't have to have chumps manually micromanaging our colonies.

Back to trying to make relationships work in Rimworld, I guess. If only Jelba hadn't had their leg shot off, they wouldn't have been depressed, then Feonea wouldn't have felt compelled to have an affair, and the colony may have survived when the toxic dust fell.

Overrated, and misunderstood. The only way to win is not to play. Buy it, and play it until you work out when you should stop.
