EDIT: The developer fixed this issue! The "In-App: Dimmdrive" goes away after running for a few minutes; see the comments below for details. From a functional perspective, this software is effective for me (18GB tri-channel RAM) at noticeably reducing load times, so I now recommend it.

Original review: While Dimmdrive is running (which, for best effect, would be always), it shows as your current Steam game. Launching a game does not replace it. I'm not a fan of being used as a 24/7 advertisement for this software.
